The ball’s in your court.
Spring officially begins next Thursday, March 20th. To kick off the new season, Nintendo is serving up a limited-time promotional offer for Wii U owners. For fans interested in taking advantage of the offer can download and access Wii Sports Club free of charge from Friday, March 21st at 9 a.m. Pacific Time through Sunday, March 23rd at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Further details are provided below.
"This promotion includes free access to all three currently available sports (Wii Sports Club – Golf, Wii Sports Club – Bowling and Wii Sports Club – Tennis) and is open to all Wii U owners, even those who have previously tried or have already downloaded Wii Sports Club. As an added bonus, the Resort Course, a new nine-hole course in Wii Sports Club – Golf that was originally featured in Wii Sports Resort, will be permanently added to the game via an update that is available today.
Players who want to keep playing after March 23 can purchase a Day Pass for $1.99 in the Nintendo eShop to play all available sports for a 24-hour period, or can buy a Club Pass that provides permanent access to individual sports for $9.99 each."
Users will be greeted with error code 2813-2470 if they try to purchase something from the Argentinian eShop without having a bank card or gift card registered for that particular country.
They need to start quality control and getting rid of the shovelware garbage that's been infecting eShop lately.
Nintendo has decided to cease its eShop services in Russia starting from May 31 in a largely expected move.
Good. You can't invade a foreign sovereign country and expect things to go on hunky dory. Queue the Russian bots to down vote me. I don't care. This is not okay. A child and her mother killed over night. In their own home. In their own country.
Dan Rizzo says "So this is where we’re at with Nintendo and their continuous colloquy of tedious arguments against emulation. It’s funny how a company that’s so against open-source emulation, uses it to sell commercial products such as the NES and SNES Classic Mini, but release a minimal quantity to drum-up all the hype behind it, only to leave a majority of its fanbase disappointed when struggling to acquire the now collector’s piece."
someone made a good point that older music, movies, and books are far more easier to get access to than games. I think the industry needs to make a change. It's crazy that so much is gone now and I'm willing to pay for the games, but there's literally no way to get them now.
I have played this, and it is fun online, but common Nintendo how bout $5.99 each?
Ah. My glasses are dirty. I read that as "Next week, Nintendo will offer free porno."
The only one I didn't get is tennis... I just don't like that one for some reason. Maybe I'll give it another try next week to see if I've changed my mind.
So we can play for free for 3 WHOLE DAYS? Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? All 3 sports? Bowling, Golf, and Tennis? THE ENTIRE WEEKEND FOR FREE?? Gee, golly, wow Thanks Nintendo!
