Justin Post, research analyst at Bank of America issued a research note on Thursday in which he favors Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI) over Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) on the belief that Activision will have more “title excitement” over the next few months.

Diablo 4 storefront being a cash grabbing shitshow does unironically attest to that, kudos.

Former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra recently suggested an interesting concept that has sparked a debate among gamers - the idea of being able to tip developers after completing a game.
If I had a 100% way to be sure that this money would go to a fund or a reserve dedicated only to the guys who develop the games, be them designers, artists, programmers and so on, I could think about it.
But we all know that this 'tip' would only end up in a publisher's CEO pocket to buy a new yacht, so, no, I ain't tipping anyone anytime soon on this industry

Titan Fall looks amazing but Destiny is where it is at for me IMO. Don't really care for EA a whole lot but I do like the developers they have under them. Most notably Bioware/PoPcap.
Destiny, Skylander, and COD, there is the money train. Also do not forget that Blizzard is part of Activision.
I really REALLY dislike EA. They always end up ruining potentially great games by forcing the developers to rush the game and make it more 'appealing' to a wider audience. I think that gamers will eventually get tired of this crap and start funding projects themselves. Star Citizen is a great example of this.
