Worlds Factory:
"With Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes coming in less than two weeks, we thought it would be appropriate to compare available screens from next-gen version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes with Metal Gear Solid 4 screens, and to see how big is the generational gap."
The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer
Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱
Cultured Vultures: If you’ve got some feelings you want to dredge up all over again, or if spending more than 15 minutes on Twitter has caused you to become completely numb, these are the saddest video game moments that we will never forget.
Kingdom hearts was really sad at the end. The darkness when Jenny dies was shocking and sad
Mine have to be last of us, Joel's daughter. Maybe it hits different when you have kids vs bot. I'll throw ff7 up there to. On the verge of looking like some sort of love triangle then bam, death
I think Dom's wife's death in Gears 2 was sadder then Dom. Dom's death in Gears 3 just felt rushed.
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The colorless gen is finally over lol
I still think MGS 4 was one of the best looking games of last gen. I'm expecting MGS V will make that mark to with Phantom Pain. But on the color side MGS 4 really is very greyish as MGS V is extremely vibrant and full of beautiful colors.
The differences are obvious, I think I get it.
I would've been more interested in a last-gen comparison. I already know the PS4/XB1 would look nicer. It would've been more interesting to see a PS3 comparison of MGS4 and MGS5.
Gotta love those nextgen weeds lol.
