Yesterday Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs would be released on May 27th this year on all platforms except the Wii U (which may not even make it out in 2014). After the game was delayed last year, Ubisoft might have expected a little more excitement surrounding the semi-close release date. However, the internet struck back.
If you are looking for a bargain, check out the huge discounts across the entire WatchDogs series on Steam.
With the world of information and technology, privacy and security growing every day, Watch Dogs deserves another chance in the spotlight, now more than ever.
The only Ubi title that deserves a faithful remake right now is Splinter Cell 1.
All 2014+ Ubi titles are just underwhelming. Especially ones from 2016+ are just cancer.
The fist watchdog game was the best by far
After that they weren't weird and annoying with that hipster stuff. Aiden was a badass.
From VG247: "When cars slide, they leave tyre marks. In a game like Driver, they’re an aesthetic touch, part of the inherent cool of a handbrake turn. But those dark shadows in the road also tell a story. From tyre marks, you can determine the speed of a vehicle, when it started to skid, and its ultimate direction of travel – long after the car itself has vanished into the distance."
Why did they stop making some of the best games ever? Driver was one of them.
A story driven game with pure driving gameplay. I'd love to see a new Driver game or a remake of the first one.
Before the "Bullshot" claims come. I wonder if anyone, at all, that claims this "controversy" have actually read anything that Ubisoft said about 25 hours ago.
"Don't worry I played PC and then PS4 and PS4 isn't giving its place. Just read the articles, they all played on PS4."
All this is saying is that the PS4 version is on par with the PC version. That doesn't mean the PC version is terrible with terriblez graphicz!!
It means the PS4 version is amazing. Which is what we have known all along. PS4 is the best next gen console.
It stands up to the PC version very well.
How that came to mean the PC version is "gimped" or not as beautiful as it could be makes no sense. Especially in light of the beautiful graphical games that have already released on the PS4.
Goodness, people really are mad about the graphics. I understand that it's a downgrade from E3, but it still can be a great game.
e3 demos are ALWAYS downgraded.
This is a little nuts. 90% of games are downgraded from their initial showing. Why is this game under more scrutiny?
I understand ppl being upset by it, but why are they seemingly more upset than times past, with other downgraded games?
To me, Thief looks like a glorified late ps2 game and no one says a peep. Watchdogs gets downgraded and the sky is falling.
