Ronimo: PS4 Is Quite A Beast, No Need For Many Optimizations

Speaking to Worlds Factory, Ronimo Games confirmed that Awesomenauts: Assemble runs easily at 1080P@60FPS, as PS4 is quite a beast and not many optimizations were needed.

I have a feeling The Witcher 3 may push these consoles really really hard. Early in the lifespan, too.

I just can't imagine games looking much better than The Witcher 3 this gen... Although I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Nah, I think The Witcher 3 is just the beginning. It's even built on The Witcher 2 engine, although improved.

Games will look a lot better in 4-5 years.

if you think witcher 3 will push the ps4 this early no. give it time and sony will be the one to do it like they always do. 3rd party devs try to keep things equal when it comes to consoles which i think is wrong.

U know I have to agree with ya 3rd party games will never Max out consoles simply cause like u said they want to keep it equal on both PS4 and X1 Though games will look better on PS4 with higher FPS if devs don't care about equal and simply just want to make their games look good. Only fist party devs will able to max out the consoles as they are only working on single console.

It's wrong, but they often have their hands tied up for deals with publishers.

The Witcher 3 might not suffer from this, though.

I agree that The Witcher 3 looks amazing. But this happens every single gen....you say "i can't imagine games looking better than this"....but every year you see better and better visuals.

I disagree, I watched all the witcher 3 trailer. Although good but im not impressed. Dragon age 3 even looks better to me. The witcher 3 graphics looks like its stuck between next gen and current gen. If you look closely and compare it with the order 1886, you'll see what i mean.

Here's what Awesomenauts: Assemble is all about people. If I were the developer I would be too ashamed to brag about 1080p/60fps with a game like that. Click the link if you want a good laugh. If the graphics don't make you laugh the super cheesy 80's style intro song will! I was amused! LMAO!
