Less overly long expositional monologues about friendship and hearts please. The gameplay and level design is great but it can seriously get annoying listening to the same monologues reiterated over and over again in each new installment.
@Aceblazer13
I play the games because they have fantastic combat mechanics and great level design, that doesn't mean that I should be forced to either sit through overly long cutscenes that take way too long to tell the player something that could be said in five-eight sentences or risk missing pivotal parts of the story. In other words, LESS=MORE

AceBlazer133697d ago

Why do you even play the games? It's like one of the main parts of the kh games, like it or hate it.

ChickeyCantor3697d ago (Edited 3697d ago )

Kingdomhearts is fine as a game ( second one though, first one was suffering from a lot of sh/t ).

CrossingEden is right on the fact that the stories don't really progress. They put too much emphasis on the whole friendship thing. And with japanese story writing it can get cheesy as hell. A LOT doesn't make sense in this game. I hope KH3 kicksback and has better story telling. So far it hasn't been that great for me.

At this point it's like asking Metal Gear Solid to not have cut-scenes. I don't necessarily disagree with what you are saying, but it's such a familiar and important part of the franchise that it would be weird without it.

So you want to take the Heart from Kingdom Hearts.... err.. ok

I posted on the survey several suggestions:

1) Make it so we can play Dream Drop Distance on the ps3 and/or ps4.

2) Put the KH Collections on PlayStation Now so they are compatible with the PS4.

MegaRay3696d ago

It would make more sense to put the collection in PSN before PSNow... atleast that what I asked for.
BTW guys, bug them about porting KH3D, it doesnt make any sense to be the only game not on PS3/PS4

Wii U... Wii U.... WIIIII UUUUUU!

mydyingparadiselost3696d ago

I would dig a Wii u version of KH3 if it was as good as the Deus Ex port :D

DC7773696d ago

Yes. Make a Wii U version. It's cartoony world fits well.

McScroggz3697d ago

Question: Why did you preorder Kingdom Hearts HD ReMIX 1.5?

Answer: I always knew I wanted it since it was announced, I need no incentive.

LAWSON723696d ago (Edited 3696d ago )

In other words go half ass and give no bonus and I will be there day one to kiss your ass. I love KH but to tell a company you need no incentive to buy their products sounds stupid. It is like a Apple fanboy, lol

Yuji Naka guilty of insider trading breaks silence to accuse Square Enix producer of lies

Yuji Naka was fined $1.2 million and given a suspended jail sentence for the crime.

Profchaos9d ago (Edited 9d ago )

I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence

solideagle8d ago

can you please give some of us who don't know anything about this, a summary of what happened?

Chocoburger8d ago

Balan was knowingly rushed out by S-E, it had an extremely short dev cycle and was fairly low budget.
Naka was the game's director until near the end when he was fired or perhaps he quit, I forgot.

carrotcakeag8d ago

@Chocoburger Yeah they did fire and replace him which caused him to unload a bunch of rants about the company. The project only existed because of Naka in the first place, he convinced Square to give him one shot at making a platformer. They gave him an opportunity but pulled the rug out before he was done for reasons not explained.

Hopefully they don’t. From this it doesn’t sound like that is the case and development is just taking too long.
