IDK if you know this or not but if anyones going to get the most out of Direct X11.2 it's CD Projekt Red.
Direct X11 > Open GL... When you know what you're doing.

And the reason I'm not getting it for PS4 is because I don't own one...Still haven't been given a reason to pick up a PS4, big KZ and Infamous fan but it looks like Shadowfall and Second Son are steps back in terms of gameplay and storytelling.

At the moment since Insomniac is making Sunset Overdrive...The only thing that's pulling me into a PS4 is The last of Us sequel...and that's probably not happening.

I own a ps4 and so all other consoles (want a picture??) + a monster pc and yet I'm getting it on XO. Why? It's the console I like most and that feels most next-gen to me. After playing Ryse or DR 3 with smartglass and kinect support, you'd understand. Untill yyou have fully tried both systems, your opinion comparing them do not matter.

On ps4 I only play games not available on other systems, which is not many atm....just Killzone (don't care about knack)

BallsEye, you are aware the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbone, right? Why would you get the Witcher 3 on the inferior console when you have a PS4 as well? Chances are the Witcher 3 will be looking and running better on the PS4 than on the Xbone.

I'll go ahead and call you out. Can you post proof that you own both a PS4 and an Xbone? If you can include pictures of all the games you own for both systems that'd be great.

They prefer MS ecosystem and daahboard (he did mention smartglass), they prefer the controller of the x1, they like having the kinect (probably falls in with the MS ecosystem) etc etc. Not everyone has to have the absolute pinnacle of graphics quality to enjoy a game, and not everyone can even tell you there is a difference when screenshots are side by side. The worst version of most games is always the PC version. It's always like this, whether you like it or not. If you disagree, you are an ignorant fool, or uneducated, and I expect you to know better since you have a PC. One word, OPTIMIZATION, this does not exist in PC gaming, yes you can control your overall settings but in consoles, developers control the graphics settings for each scene, they know what setting to highlight and what setting to turn off in each scene, depends on how they are trying to present the story. (of course if you have a PC that way exceeds the power of consoles, that's a different story, as it's not a fair comparison anymore)

To this day The Witcher 2 still impresses the hell out of me. Playing it maxed out on PC it was literally like getting to play a next gen game long before there were any next gen consoles.

Yes, it will. CDP is extremely anti-DRM(for the PC at least)so putting putting it on DRM-free GoG is more than fitting.

But no content creator is anti-drm.. Its how they make their livings.. No DRM means you can freely share it without paying anything..

No, anti-DRM doesn't mean they want it to share their content freely without expecting us to pay. It means they want us to pay and enjoy their products without encountering multiple layers of pain(DRM). That's what I want.

Banished came out last week and I chose the GoG version over Steam. I will repeat this for The Witcher 3.

It's called having no DRM. Not surprised you wouldn't know what that was though since you're a console player and those things are riddled with DRM. You obviously didn't actually check the webpage because it says it right there.

The best part of this game is that the gameplay will be more memorable than the visuals and you get WAY more content than the majority of triple A games with higher budgets and way more linear worlds. CD Projekt Red FTW!

I've played them through on the PC but I'll definitely be picking this up on the PS4. I know it's doubtful but I hope there is some way to mimic my previous character/choices from PC across to console if it does continue on from the previous games.

I hope the GFX on console come close to what we've seen of the game so far as well!
