Will Rocksteady's next Batman game release this year?

With rumours continuing to circulate that Rocksteady's next Batman game is to be unveiled within the next few weeks, Start Replay take a look over why it might be a good idea to delay the announcement, as well as the supposed 2014 release.

Too soon? Rocksteady's last Batman, Arkham City, came out in 2011. It's been 3 years... I could do with another, proper, Batman game. Origins didn't cut it.

There has only been two Batman games(Three I guess if you picked up the cash grab Origins that wasn't developed by Rocksteady. That's your fault). And you don't know what the details of the next game is. Although it isn't likely to have day/night cycles, you just never know what Rocksteady might have up their sleeves.

if they bring us a full open world experience in gotham and let us drive the batmobile/jetpack/jet/bike and such i don't mind.

I'm tired of people saying that. God of War, Batman, Metal Gear....I've heard it all and to tell you the truth, if they listened to you, I wouldn't have any damn games to play. So...please....stop and ignore the game if it bothers you that much, I'll be playing Arkham 3 while you do. God, some of you guys act like they milk these series like COD games or something. Relax, I want more games to play.

Freaking love Arrow, although I feel if Rocksteady adaapted the TV show they would be greatly limited in the characters and stories they could use.

I suggest taking the Batman Arkham route creating their own fiction which relates more to the comics, helping for better gameplay and story and characters.

Perhaps have an Arrow skin or little nods here and there to the show like Injustice.

Trick arrows a MUST, including the boxing glove arrow.

You know what Iron? I was watching Arrow the other day and I thought that same thing myself. He was my favorite in Injustice and I am wondering what sort of work RockSteady could do with his license.

All these dudes bitching and crying about another batman from rocksteady can go to hell. Those games are awesome. I can't wait to see the fallout from Arkham City's ending. I'm hoping they develop the Hush storyline from that game. It was one of my favorite parts. Azrael was awesome too,

Arkham origins wasn't that bad I thought it had the best story out of the 3 and troy baker as joker was awesome. But gameplay wise first two r much better

I do think this will be a next gen game, there's NO reason the game was under development, I really don't see it being announced on the 3rd March, then wait till March-June. It should come out this year as a next gen/PC only, thats all I agree on for this article don't dumb it down for 360/PS3.
