The trilogy edition is still a shitty deal if you are looking for the whole ME experience, even for that price. There practically no DLCs included (just for ME1 and Zaeed from ME2).

None of the DLCs have ever been discounted from Origin/Bioware Store and to get all the DLCs missing you would be easily spending over $60...

I cant even imagine how they had the nerve to charge so much for it initially

The combined MSRP for these games is at least 150 USD, for 12 bucks. In what world is that shitty... Don't think it's gonna get any cheaper than that, bub.

ME1 is $5, ME2 is $7, ME 3 is already about $15 and the price will continue to drop. How on earth is that $150.

The least we can expect when they are simply repackaging 5-6 years old games, is that they will take into account that they are no longer priced at $60 and include the freaking DLC that was released such a long time ago.

This Trilogy version is the farthest i've seen of a definitive version come out in a long time. You cant possibly believe that anyone should pay $100+ for the entire ME experience after so much time has passed since they were out. Its a cash grab because they know that DLC has never been discounted.

Only at $11 this trilogy makes some kind of sense, but not because its a good deal, only because when you factor all the DLC that you have to buy, you get what the regular price should have been when it came out

I don't see anywhere where it states it's the trilogy. All I see is that they're offering Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 for $9.99. Doesn't include ME3, which isn't on Steam anyway.

I wish Mass Effect PC would use the 360 controller. I'm so used to playing this series with that controller. I did buy the pc version years ago though to support the devs. Steam and Origin sales FTW.

I don't get the whole "your choices don't matter argument". Let's get something straight, this whole game essentially deals with your previous choices. No way could they affect the last 5 minutes as well without creating a 30 hour epilogue which would give you a rehash of what you already saw.

Like, how does the Genophage decision affect the final minutes? Oh, it doesn't, but you saw the outcome of that decision during the game. Both outcomes. Doesn't affect the fate of Shepard or the Reapers, because it already came to a resolution. Dealing with the Geth/Quarian arc? You already saw the resolution to that decision during the game.

This whole game is one big ending which shows you the consequences of all your choices from ME1+ME2+ME3. The final minutes of the game deal with the fate of Shepard, the Reapers, and what state the Normandy and the rest of the galaxy is in. It is not just a color swap like some people say.

Just because the game didn't give you a rehash of everything you've done doesn't mean your choices don't matter.

None of your choices mattered at all because the game is over now. The choices you made at the time were the choices you made at the time. Not knowing how the final minutes plays out you might get different choices along the way, but that is how the game always works.

Ergo, the last 5 minutes is not the end of the game. The entire game is one big ending.

I personally loved the game as a whole, and I don't feel Bioware lied to me or false advertised in any way. If people didn't like the final minutes, sounds like they didn't like the game as a whole.

The fact that they would just delete the entire game from their hard drive because the third game's ending sucked is kind of like swearing off a long time series because the ending was bad. People have to get used to the idea of a game having a bad ending.

Even if the final cutscene was visually a little different than what I described, people would still come up with something to say their choices don't matter. Like, I saved the Geth, but in the end it doesn't matter because of [spoiler]. Complaining just to complain. I'm not surprised Bioware's CEO came out and said their "fanbase" wasn't really doing anything to help their case.

Holding companies to their "promises" every single day for nearly two years is completely insane. Reeks of autistic integrity. Even after an advertising agency (who has busted people before), as well as two lawyers who specialize in false advertising cases determined that it was not false advertising, fans still bring up this stuff.

Tell you what, if people want to be miserable and pout about the game be my guest. Please, it would be better if you just found some new game to play, instead of moping on about something you hate for the last 2 years.

If they did that, and for Uncharted also, I would HOPE they would "blend" all the games into one with a little additional something or other that makes it seem like one long game. Not like three different menus and this and that. Make whatever adjustments make sense to consistently blend them together, even control or tactics changes if applicable. I guess something that extensive would require a REMAKE really.

Great games. I played 1 on Pc, 2 on PS3 and 3 on Wii U.

It feels much, much more natural with a controller in my opinion. Which is why I shifted to consoles after the first. There's unfortunately no controller support on PC, don't even mention that terrible mod or xpadder... Not even remotely close.

I look forward to the reveal of the next game.

No it doesnt... just DLC for ME1(meh) and Zaeed for ME2. Its about $60 more to get all the DLC because its never discounted (there are single pieces of DLC more expensive than the entire trilogy... -_-)
