HB Studios Has Not Faced Any Issues Due To Xbox One’s eSRAM Yet

While there have been severe criticisms facing the Xbox One, especially with regards to the eSRAM within the system, there have also been developers who report no problems with the same. HB Studios executive producer Peter Garcin is one such developer. HB Studios is developing The Golf Club for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and is perhaps most well known for its work on EA Sports’ Madden NFL series.

Good for there weak game, doesn't change the fact we aren't seeing huge games like BF4 running at 1080p 60fps.

PS3 had alot of 2D style games running at 1080p an maybe even 60fps. But no big games did.

barb_wire3704d ago

Wasn't 'Wipeout' 1080p 60fps?

DJustinUNCHAIND3704d ago

You aren't seeing that on PS4 either.

KingDadXVI3704d ago

Sorry but BF4 is 900p on the PS4 not 1080p. Good attempt though.

OmegaShen3704d ago

Where did I say it was troll?

KingDadXVI3704d ago

Figure it out for yourself the rest of us are aware of what you were doing.

Kribwalker3704d ago

PS3 was capable of 120fps with 6hd feeds. Why are we only seeing 60fps this gen ? 😜

Volkama3704d ago

I have not had any problems with ESRAM either. Is that news worthy, or do i have to be developing a game?

CharlesSwann3704d ago

Download unity for free on their website. *Poof* You are now a game developer.

ThePope3704d ago

Haha well said. No problem with ESRAM over here either!

candy_mafia3704d ago (Edited 3704d ago )

Well that's good news right?

Xbox One is more than capable of outputting amazing experiences. The whole 720/900p thing is fanboy rhetoric. The average gamer can't tell the difference, only those who have little to do all day over hype the disparities.

I have chosen PS4 purely for the games, not the framerates or resolutions. The whole thing is silly fanatical fanboy nonsense.

I could set up the old sonic games to 4k but it still wont be looking much better. I would rather have devs focus on making cool special effects like particle effects, lighting, weather and so on first before they make up their mind to only be at 1080p and 60fps. I have 20/20 vision and I cant tell the difference between the e3 Ryse and the final Ryse. And the differences between MGS5 wont be noticable when I'm actually playing the game and not pausing the game every 5 seconds.

UnHoly_One3704d ago (Edited 3704d ago )

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Part of me wishes I could see the difference just so I knew what the big deal is, but try as I might I can't see it, unless I'm looking at two identical static screenshots.

From 10 feet away on my TV and in motion, I would never be able to tell.

And the funnier thing is, even if I COULD tell, I still wouldn't CARE. The games look good, and they are fun, and that's all I care about.

If the other version looks that amazingly mind-bogglingly much better, then I'll just buy the other version. I don't see why we need 20 articles a day about the same thing.

We get it, 1080p is better than 720p, can we talk about some actual gaming news now? How about we talk about what games Sony has in store for us next, or when we are going to see more gameplay from Quantum Break?

XboxFun3704d ago

The truth is no one will notice. Its just the fanboys on this site being ridicolous and shooting the little ammo they have left. Once they are out of that you will quickly see them change subjects and focus on that.

I suspect once the resolution war is over they will start to celebrate and focus on sales.

5 of the best Golf games on Xbox One

Neil writes "Love it or hate it, you can’t ignore the fact that the wonderful world of golf is enjoyed by many. When the weather is cold and miserable though, or you just can’t get out of bed to make that stupidly early tee time, the draw of the Xbox One sitting under your television is perhaps just too much to ignore.

But that’s not to say you can’t still get your golfing fix as there are now a number of well rounded golfing titles available on our favourite games console.

So don your long socks, get your spikes on and prepare to settle down as we drive you through 5 of the best golfing titles on Xbox One. It’s not always a good walk ruined you know."

A good golf game is a must for every system. I remember golf on the 3DO and on the 32x. After that it seems that it turned into a cartoon and not a big fan of tiger woods. Wii U golf is great but with terrable graphics.
