Lost Odyssey and Kameo, along with Folklore got way less attention than they should have received

Not to mention the countless indie titles that deserved way more praise

Did you not read the end of the article? That's why a part two is coming.

He wasn't questioning your article... he was just offering his opinion. If you're gonna be snippy with everyone who comments on your article, you're not going to have a very big readership.

I agree. Folklore was a really great game that still has the best sixaxis features in my opinion. The Darkness would be another overlooked game. It's still one of my favorites of the gen.

diehardmetallicafan3714d ago

Yeah the darkness is an awesome game! played through it so many times

Korde113714d ago

Lost Odyssey was a real diamond in the rough.

Muffins12233714d ago (Edited 3714d ago )

dues ex human, mirrors edge, elebits(wii launch title) , and tearaway (though mirrors edge may is getting a sequel its like 7 years later we get one and was seen as a failure financially and did not get much love from the company for a long time because we kept on begging for it. The same thing could probably happen to dues ex human)

darthdusty3714d ago (Edited 3714d ago )

@Thepharaoh Actually read your comment the wrong way, my apologies. That being said, yes the games you mentioned were awesome and yes, there are a ton of indie titles that must be mentioned in part II :).

The only good part about Enslaved was the acting, the rest of it was pretty average. No wonder people didn't play the game.

Relientk773714d ago

Enslaved
Folklore
Tales of Graces f
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom
Valkyria Chronicles
Vanquish
3D Dot Game Heroes

Cute Things Dying Violently was surprisingly addictive.

Not joking.

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
