'91 for me. I was allowed to 'test' Sonic for 30 mins or so a few weeks before Christmas. Then I had to sit there and see my Megadrive being wrapped and placed under tree.
Suffice to say, the next two weeks of my life were filled with sleepless nights as I played the game in my head everyday until I finally got to unleash it. Think I completed it 3 times before Christmas Day had drawn to a close. *sigh*
