The only Ubi title that deserves a faithful remake right now is Splinter Cell 1.
All 2014+ Ubi titles are just underwhelming. Especially ones from 2016+ are just cancer.
The fist watchdog game was the best by far

But, before I even read the story, I'd have to agree. If Ubisoft does this it would be an awesome way to bridge between two IPs and refresh the AC series.
They could do so much with having a series of games in the past and a series of games in the future - that are connected to one another.
The real question becomes: Will the Animus be available in any of the Watch Dogs titles moving forward? That's when peoples brains will begin to melt.
The Liberation HD demo was the 1st time I ever tried an Assassin Creed game and its awful.
It seems the games plays for me. Is that how all AC games are?

Ubi said there will be no modern day Assassin's Creed.
There was a nod to Watch Dogs in ACIV and it was implying that it is the same Universe but not being involed in the templar and Assassin's fight.
I fully expect to see advertising for Abstergo Entertainment in Watch Dogs.
