I don't mind that they are offering the ability to pay to level to 90. What I mind is that they are charging $60, this is insane.
It feel like they are trying to milk every dollar out of WoW before they release a new mmo and kill wow sub base.

There is no font big enough for the dollar signs they must see when they are making these decisions.

Not against this. Its the whole argument of time vs money. Some just don't have the time to put in to get to the end game content. This allows them a way to do so. A bit of a premium to do so, bit that's really up to them.

If you thought it was going to be in the 20-40 range, I could have told you beforehand that you were going to be wrong.

Blizzard needs to price it high enough so people won't just make a new 90 instead of server/faction changing, but low enough so people with the cash to throw around will still buy it.

If you don't like it... you aren't missing out on anything. You still have the opportunity to level.

I literally have no idea why there is any uproar about this. Did people really think they could get 90s for the price of a server transfer?

On second thought, there is literally no price that Blizzard could have put for this that everyone would be happy about. $60 is fair. Carry on.

I'd expect this in a Free 2 play game, but not in a subscription based game ESPECIALLY at 60$. time=money? BS.

I still think it's silly you have to buy the expansion packs! These title updates should be included with monthly fees.

A good example of treating the fanbase right is DC universe online. As long as you are a subscriber, you get access to ALL the add-ons.

I remember the days when a large part of WoW's greatness was the adventure and exploration of levelling. It wasn't a grind, it was a satisfying way to spend your time.

Back then, paying $60 like this wouldn't have made much sense, you would have been throwing away the experience.

I do understand that there's a demand for this type of service and I believe the consumer should be given options, but I can't help but feel disheartened by this.

everyone who buys the expansion, both new players and old can level any character, a level 1 or a50 or whatever instantly up to 90 so they can start playing the expansion content right away

this is a good move imo

after the first char upgrade they will likely charge something, not $60, but something, if I had to guess, I'd say $20-$30....personally, to me, I only need on character and leveling a new race/class instantly to 90 to start in the new zone is quite appealing to me

personally I am looking forward to playing this game with my wife and brother and a few friends, we always have fun with this game and each expansion for at least 20-40 hours
