I was really excited about this title but with it going pay to play i lost interest. meh

A lot of people that I've discussed this with are still on the fence as most haven't had chance to sample the AvA (PvP). Most of them have said that if the AvA is great they'll be happy to pay but that leaves me with other concerns.

The typical Elder Scrolls fan isn't necessarily a PvP fan. Sure for MMO players it's a vital ingredient but if the PvE is that lacking, I'm worried ESO will lose The Elder Scrolls fanbase sooner rather than later.

PvP looks like a small improvement on Guild Wars World vs. World. And as you said it, you can't win over TES-fans with PvP ...but you'll lose them with bad PvE. People will simply wait for TES:6 and play Witcher & Dragon Age instead.

Its only hope is to do well on consoles, because its not going to last on the pc

What they need is base, at least 1 million users..

They can't achieve that with the offer that is on the table right now, they need to make the game free so people will justify paying monthly for it, and hock people up in one move, how?

by giving you 4or3 free months when you first buy the game, the 60$ you paid will be like you paid them as a subscription fee, and the game is free, if it's good and you and your friends like it, you'll keep paying...
