Geoff: "Psyched By New Infamous: Second Son Demo, Dev Has Upped The Ante With Graphics For PS4"

Sony today showcased demo of Infamous: Second Son and The Order: 1886 to select few gaming press from North America in Santa Monica, and impressions on this behind closed door presentation has already started to arrive.

PS4 hasn't been powered on for some time because PS3 is still on fire, but i can feel this situation will change in a few weeks.
i dont care what geoff says or thinks about this, cause everyone is psyched after all trailers and gameplay videos we've seen since reveal feb 20th a year ago (already?????)

Also, he's crazy, Infamous has some of the sharpest and best looking graphics on a next gen game so far (not to mention the colors). Along with some of the most impressive lighting and particle effects. The game has a ton of destructibility, with debris that stays where it fell, and NPCs with real faces scanned on them. This game is way more next gen than Titanfall, yet he sweats the f-outta that.

The video reveal is for The Order. In less than two weeks we are supposed to see full blown gameplay. Those that have seen at and spoken briefly have simply said it redefines next gen above anything we have witnessed to date.

You do realize that Infamous is made by Sucker Punch and not Naughty Dog. However, they do have a great track record as well, though. Sony has some great first party studios.

The specs to run titanfall on minimum is such a low tech PC i would be surprised your PC couldnt run it, my spare parts PC with a gts450 in could run titanfall easily, i think you overestimating the game lol.

Second Son, Titanfall, Project Spark, The Witcher 3, EA UFC, The Order, DriveClub, Watch Dogs etc. 2014 alone blows away 2005, 2006, and 2007. I'm not a big fan of saying something is "teh best eva" unless its actually true...but this gen will be teh best EVAAAAA!

Some people may disagree but I thought 2012/ 2013 was strong years too. A lot of good games came out: The last Of US, Tomb Raider, Bio Shock Infinite, Dark Souls, Dishonored, Metro, Metal gear Rising, Farcry 3, Castlevania 2, Devil May Cry, the Witcher 2, Skyrim, etc.

Guess some people like the games on there, i'm more of an rpg/adventure type. I love a good story. That makes pickings kinda slim atm in my opinion, sadly i felt ac:bf was a disapointment. Can't wait for the witcher 3, ff15 and hopefully if:ss will be good.

Please, I owned a PS2, PS3, and a PS4 along with a X360, XB1, and also a Wii. How does my statement regarding game selection right now have anything to do with spec. If I really care about spec I'll build a gaming PC a long time ago as consoles are never about specs, it is about the exclusive games and right now I love Killer Instinct, Forza 5, Dead Rising, and with Titanfall coming next month, I can care less about 720P vs 1080P as if a game is good, it is a great game regardless of spec. You PS fanboys can pound you chest all you want about specs but I bought all the consoles so I wouldn't miss any great games that will be coming out. And right now, I like the XB1 games better.

Look yourself in the mirror before labeling others as fanboys of a console that you don't have.

I don't think they'll have one. The demo they've had at shows was not a demo. It's the full game, but they only let attendees play a small portion. It's inFamous. I don't think we need a demo to know it's incredible.
