GearNuke: "inFamous: Second Son is the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive from Sucker Punch, the creators of Sly Cooper series. inFamous series started on the PlayStation 3 and got about 2 full fledged games on the system and one short side-story. In case you were wondering if you need to play the previous games in order to enjoy the new one, you should be glad to know that there is no need to do so."
inFAMOUS Second Son was one of PS4's best exclusives, but does it hold up a decade later?
100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released
Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.
Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.
Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run
I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.
Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.
I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.
Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion
GB: "With this feature, we run down 15 of the most underrated games on the PS4 that never received the love and appreciation they truly deserve."
I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.
I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.
There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
GB: "There's just something special about the games that could be, and this feature gushes about 15 games that we would love to see on the PS5."
I hate when devs say things like this, deep down you really do have to play the other games to understand whats going on. The world thats changed in this game is because of what Cole did in inFAMOUS 2 so really if you actually want to understand the story you do need to play the first two games.
I also have a gut feeling that Cole will be mentioned or maybe seen at the very end hinting at his return. Did he come back alive when the lightning bolt struck at the end of inFAMOUS 2? Did the Government experiment on him and keep him locked up? Was he revived and because of how the Government responded to conduits he and Zeke went into hiding? There's so many explanations of why he could be alie still, hell you might revive him at the end of this game who knows.
I know they've said Cole is over and done with but I don't believe them, they wouldn't throw away a much loved character. They talked about how they wanted to tell other stories with new conduits as spin offs when inFAMOUS 2 came out and because this is called Second Son instead of inFAMOUS 3 I think thats what they are doing....giving Cole a break so when they do bring him back they've used other conduits as a means to make the world different next time we play as Cole.
This is good news for those new to the series who will be getting this
oh man i can't Waite for this game ,but stile there more then a month and we have in this Period games such as castlevania lords of shadow 2 and dark souls 2 and i just see the newest gameplay demo which i just bring it here

thats the sign of a shallow game
you shouldn't be able to jump right into a game series at the 3rd installment. That is just ridiculous PR marketing talk
Hopefully there will still be references to the other infamous games.
