inFAMOUS: Second Son Studio Unclouds Unannounced Project

Push Square: "Sucker Punch may have successfully re-stoked the embers regarding its upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive inFAMOUS: Second Son at the Taipei Game Show last week, but with the superhero excursion now mere weeks away, the Sony subsidiary is starting to look to the future, too. A trio of job listings posted to the Seattle-based studio’s official website earlier in the week mentions that it’s working on an unannounced project in addition to the abovementioned sequel, although specifics remain tightly under wraps."

SLY please. The funnest 3d platformer I've ever played.

iGAM3R-VIII3730d ago

Agreed, this is going to be an amazing 2014 year and E3 and GDC for us PlayStation owners!

UltimateMaster3729d ago

Bring a game for the Vita too while you're at it.

minimur123729d ago (Edited 3729d ago )

I actually hope Sanzura games keeps making Sly games and Sucker Punch works on a new IP. I loved Thieves in Time a lot.

Double_Oh_Snap3730d ago (Edited 3730d ago )

This guy knows whats up. As a huge fan of Sly since I first met the gang in 2002. I must say Sanzaru games did a fantastic job of not only staying true to Sly and his roots but also making an awesome game.

I want to see what Sucker Punch comes up with next and I think Sanzaru games should get another Sly game. They certainly deserve it imo.

Pintheshadows3730d ago

I agree with both of vehemently. Sanzaru did an amazing job. Sadly I feel it was utterly overlooked by most gamers.

Omegasyde3729d ago

Suckerpunch =============== Next Socom game, since alot of Zipper employees went to Sucker Punch after the studio was disbanded.

(Zipper and Sucker punch were "somewhat" next to each other in Seattle).

Aces173730d ago

Sly was my favorite series on PS2, but I'd personally rather see them try something new.

Lilrizky3730d ago

same here, Sly is in good hands with Sanzaru games.

I'd love to see Sucker Punch do something better. Possibly like a Justice League-type infamous game with multiple heroes and players OR a new IP. I think they're team is too big and talented for Sly now.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi3730d ago

Jak was the best out of the big 3. If they don't give him a movie that would be just plain wrong.

But I hope it's a sly game.

Patrick_pk443730d ago

I couldn't care for another Sly Cooper game. I would rather have a new exclusive. It is better to expand the library of new IPs.

Hopefully a new IP would be awesome

Mr-Dude3730d ago

How much I like sequels, new IP's I like more so SP, amaze me!

whoyouwit043730d ago (Edited 3730d ago )

I know this is off subject, but has any one else notice the PS4 isn't selling out any more (online or local retail)? I guess it's hype is starting to die down now and this will probably be the last month it will be hard to find one. However, I was always able to go to my local WalMart and find some on the shelves, but now every city I go to has them in stock.

HappyWithOneBubble3730d ago

So you go to every Walmart in every city you go to looking for PS4's on shelves? Dude get a life.

Outside_ofthe_Box3730d ago (Edited 3730d ago )

***"I guess it's hype is starting to die down"***

What ever happened to "OR maybe, JUST MAYBE, they are doing a great job of manufacturing and meeting demand"?

MysticStrummer3730d ago

I guess you haven't been to any of the cities I've been to recently.

MegaRay3730d ago

Yeah I can confirm that I been in 40+ cities and PS4 was on shelves... what? We (I and the guy I replied to) have no bubbles to waste xP

Did you ever notice that the Xbone never sold out to begin with? I guess it never had any hype to begin with seeing as it was outsold worldwide. I walk into a bunch of stores and see several of them sitting on shelves. I wonder why?

100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released

KwietStorm_BLM98d ago

Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.

SDuck98d ago

Still remember getting hyped about this game nearing release. Funny because I never even got a PS4. Jumped from PS3 to PC so I never played it ahahaha

OmegaSoldati97d ago

Its a good game. But thats it. Congratulations you made the best choice. I dream to have a great PC one day.

Profchaos98d ago (Edited 98d ago )

Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.

Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run

I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.

Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.

I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.

Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion

I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.

banger88129d ago

That's amazing, Gamingbolt actually put all 15 games on the same page.

shinoff2183128d ago

I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.

persona4chie128d ago

There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
