Agree with everything except Enslaved. That game was crap. Replace that game with either Folklore or Binary Domain.

Just curious, why did you think it was crap? It had some glitches but it was a killer game IMO. The only other game I've ever played through 2 times in a row is Psychonauts.

If the main game was anything like the demo, then Andy Serkis's overacting couldn't save a game full of repetitive button mashing 'action' followed by a dose of spam the jump button to do some lame, can't fall off, find the flashing ledge platforming 'fun'.

All these games, aside from Deadly Premonition, were rather well reviewed.
I think a better title would have been "under appreciated" or "undersold", personally.
That said, pretty much every game on this list were favorites of mine from last generation.
Enslaved, Metro and Deadly Premonition especially.

I got Vanquish free with PS+, after 30 minutes I was bored and never went back. What's so good about it?

Same here. Actually after that boss from the demo, I was over it. The game just is t that good whether it's the mediocre shooting or the awful graphics.

Vanquieshed I found really good, thought short.

It was one of the few games i found challenging when bumping to max.

don't play it for 30min, it was same thing with me the first time i hated the demo until one day i had nothing to play and i bought it very cheap.
I played through the game i absolutely loved it.

i am really not into shooters and TPS but Vanquish is really good i liked the bullet time, the very well balanced speed in the game as well.
give it one more try and play it long enough.

If you finish it like i did with Mirror Edge and you were still meh about it then it's fair enough.

No way in Enslaved or Vanquish better than Mirror's Edge.

Enslaved is fun but the whole theme and story seem generic.

Vanquish is fun, but it doesn't make me want to play it over and over again. And it doesn't help I have to watch the main character smoke in every cutscene. Highly annoying...

You know truly is a great game, story, gameplay, sound are all amazing...Brutal Legend. I remember K-Mart had this game for $5 a few years ago and I was like why not? I think it is one of the "best" games last generation. It is a complete game.

those games arent really that underrated. i see a lot of people talk about them. there are way more underrated games like Zeno Clash or XIII

add The Last of Us. It's underrated in the sense it still doesn't get the amount of praise it DESERVES. Its story puts most literary works to shame. I cared more about the characters than those in any game, film, tv show, or book. The gameplay was designed better than any mario or zelda game, which is saying something. The acting blows away anything decaprio or clooney could ever muster.

It won like 50 game of the year awards already. Relax it isn't that serious, and its only a game.

Plus half the copies it sold can't even be played. 30 minute load times isn't worth it.
