I would laugh if it were and it hit 60fps......haha

Anyway NFS MOST WANTED U is much better in textures, lighting, sound, sense of speed,fun.....

JackieCruise693753d ago

I seriously doubt it, but there's still a chance it could be.
I hope it isn't. We have a bunch of other racing type games coming that AREN'T ports, Mario Kart 8, Project CARS, Fast racing Neo...

So a really late port of a racing game doesn't seem so exciting..

Theyellowflash303753d ago

Did you read the reasons why it could be Need for Speed Rivals?

Concertoine3753d ago

i would be sad if it was, because it would come out like 6 months too late again, sell bad, then they'd blame wii u owners for not buying the game.

JackieCruise693753d ago

Yes, of course I have.

You made some good points. But there are still many other games it could be. I guess I shouldn't doubt it too much, but I wouldn't exactly make such a big deal over NFS Rivals.

That's just me personally, though. I'd be a little disappointed if they revealed this as their 'exciting' game port.

Theyellowflash303753d ago

Oh ok, I was just asking. I would be disappointed if it was rivals as well. However, if it was priced right, I would pick it up.

Exactly why EA will do it

for we are many3753d ago

Hopefully not! I played rivals on PC and it's like a chore. NFS games have gone stagnant for long time now, I wish they go back to their root-style on ps1/2. I don't like the "new" narrative handholding and voice in the menus all the time it feels like all the new-age generic garbage that have plagued almost all racing car games produced in recent years, please try to go back to old-school ways and let us explore and dive into action "meat" without hand-holding and overly unnecessary narrative. Maybe I am getting old or out of style for these games, but this is how I genuinely feel.

deadfrag3753d ago

Again after aLL the other versions!?No thanks EA,get it at the same time or for me atleast dont release it at all!

Retroman3753d ago

Blackbox studio need to redeem themselves bring back old school style 2 player NFS no autolog crap nor alldrive crap.
that alldrive don't work well you only can race once with a buddy jump in for one race after that he can't find you ,you cant find his race.

I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.

The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.

How would XCX work without dual screens functionality?

Cacabunga2d ago

Same as Paper Mario color splash. One of the best wiiu games and getting even better with dual screen. Same reason why i prefer Splatoon 1

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

Stevonidas2d ago

Devil's Third is HIGHLY underrated.

repsahj2d ago

They should remake Starfox to the switch 2. Very beautiful game during gamecube days.

Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.
