Why don't you use Google to compare all the games you can play right NOW on both systems. Half the games on that PS4 list are a joke or are already out anyway, but if it makes you nice, safe, and secure to pull that "security blanket" of stretched opinion over you, whatever. We can also speculate how long before some of those games drop. I remember one of the biggest games that hyped me up for the PS3 was TLG, how was that one? It was listed on fanboy list, every year since before the PS3 came out, used as ammo for the superiority of PS3 EXCLUSIVES!!! Well it missed that window, but maybe sometime in the PS4's future huh? I would like to compare that bloated list to what actually comes out in the next 5 years.

Nah, us Halo fans want more Halo. We're still trying to recover from Halo 4's disaster of multiplayer. We thought H4 was going to save us from Halo: Reach with all that bloom, sprint, and armor abilities (Halo: Reach got better with NBNS).

We want a true-skill ranking system that's visible in-game (not that CSR crap), no armor abilities, no ordinances, better maps, and no sprint. There was nothing to play for in H4 and Reach when in the end everyone was a winner. In Halo 2 and Halo 3 you had to play to win for your rank. You lose, and your ranks goes bye-bye. When you ranked up in H2/H3 it literally felt like the biggest accomplishment ever.

Of course this can't be help if they are releasing a Halo every two years. They need to take their time and get the online right. By first listening to the community. If you've seen Halo 4's population online, it's almost a damn wasteland.

To me the Master chief died in Halo 3. Halo 4 was a terrible story and a mediocre game that should have never happened. I remember playing the opening 15 mins and thinking wow this is going to be great, only to be disappointed by the rest of the game. I'm just not that excited about Halo anymore, I've moved on.

Halo 4 has a great story that's on par with the rest of the series from every perspective, especially characterization because master chief had WAY more of a personality than he did in the original trilogy. The side characters also had way better personalities too because they had depth and were well very well acted. Even the spartan ops mode had a great story.

I'm a Halo fanboy, I won't lie but Spartan ops had a great story? You can't be serious, I was so disappointed with SpartOps. Would have preferred firefight a hell of a lot more. Back on topic, I'm excited to see what they bring and hopefully it doesn't involve Chief being the main focus, they're are many other characters and stories to look at.

The problem with what you said is that people liked Master Chief because of the fact that he was the silent type. He never said anything. He showed up, fucked shit up, and saved the universe. Which is why people were drawn to him. I did like the story still, but it was a drastic change and I'm not sure everybody wanted it. Also "CODifying" Halo multiplayer was probably the worst thing ever. Get rid of these retarded armor abilities and perks and bring it back to the roots. Doing this would make many, many people happy.

I think I am allowed to have the opinion that Spartan Ops wasn't that great and the majority have that opinion too.
Yes, I enjoyed the cutscenes but missons themselves were just awful, maybe it's a matter of opinion but I don't see how you can question whether i'm a Halo fan by me disliking part of the game which was basically just an 'add on'
I never said, I hate the whole of Halo just because of Spartan ops, just that I didn't think it was that good.
Also, firefight was waves of enemies, Spartan ops is a misson objective which completes the level when it finishes, very different styles of gameplay!

Halo 4's story was ok, the execution was pretty bad. Spartan ops could of been great if they had put more thought into missions after the big openers of the month. A more in depth forge with terrain editor tools and having the community work on the maps and vote it while having 343 edit them to fit in with missions could of lead to a larger variety of maps and possibly missions too. Honestly most of it was just good idea and horrid execution and just not enough big thinking.

How exactly was execution bad? The gameplay and everything was tight. But for me it wasn't halo. Gameplay wise at least. It was far more fast paced than usual. And the story was good, it was just different. If you were looking for the old trilogy it wasn't what you were going to get and people should have known this. It's a new saga for halo, and while many disagree with it, you can't tell me 343i didn't execute their ideas well.

I'm a die hard halo 1 fan, attended many tournaments, got 2nd place in one of them back in the day and yet I believe Halo 4 is best in the series so far. Very refreshing SP, very dynamic MP and best last gen graphics (last levels blew me away and I've played it AFTER I got my next-gen consoles).

Come on, this is clearly a BS rumour. 343i have even came out themselves and said they struggled to get Halo 4 out in a timely manner.. seeing how they have roughly two years development time for Halo 5, how can they have grown to the point where they are working on multiple titles? Of course it could mean that's what they are working on after Halo 5 and recruiting early for the conceptional period but realistically speaking, chances are it's a position for Halo 5.

After Halo 3 I was really disappointed with Halo Reach/4. They tried to cater it to cod fans too much and it made it easier for noobs. I remember Halo 3 took skill to play.

Sad but true.. o man Halo 3 was so much fun, you'd get random people actually using their mics productively trying to encourage teamwork. I remember coming on Saturday and Sunday morning in the UK, it was always a blast as there would always be some drunk North Americans playing and chatting on mic. Nowdays on Halo 4, Mics seem to be exclusively used to either make annoying noises or talk trash.

Then the skill gap in the game.. coming up against someone good always gave me that sense of excitement I used to get.. only Halo 3, CS 1.6, Quake 3 and the original Gears have gave me this feeling and man how I miss it. Getting killed by someone good on that game wasn't because he's a camping loser, nor because he had an OP weapon or some annoying crappy killstreak, it was because he was better than you.

Dude... It's Bungie, if you plan on getting Destiny be prepared for that stuff. Also you took a clip from Halo:CE, and yeah its Halo but with 343 the enemies dont sound nearly as dumb. It revolutionized the idea that people would play a console FPS, prior it was all quake and such on computers. People literally brought xbox's to each other's house and did huge lan multiplayer fights. Not only that, Halo introduced the dual stick controls for FPS's on console (meaning using the left stick to move and the right to aim) and the aim assist you see in FPS's now. Yeah you know that little sticky feeling when you are scoping at someone in a game? Thank Halo for that, it's what makes you not want to throw your controller because aiming is annoyingly hard. It was also one of the first games to introduce vehicles in an intelligent way for an FPS. On top of all this it introduced regenerating health. So saying it did nothing is quite the statement.

I would be pissed to see Halo attempt large teams but you never know 343i did things to Halo that clearly change everything about the way it is played. They seem to want to impress a wider array of people and something like huge Halo battles may sound like a good idea to MS. Let this be a MMOFPS...Destiny is pretty much Halo/Borderlands.

Can you imagine playing a game with several factions to choose from...UNSC/Covenant/Third faction of your choice.
You start off as a UNSC soldier and can work your way to become a Spartan with abilities and what not that improve. The game would demand a more diverse weapon system like Borderlands/Destiny but it COULD work. Or you play as a Elite rising through the ranks of a covenant armada that's trying to reside on this planet.

The whole point of Sci-fi is that it's filled with limitless possibilities. If they continue down this ambitious path with Halo they could do SO MUCH. Destiny/The Division/Borderlands 2 have shown that Co-op/Competitive playstyle can work very well whe you add good replay ability and have a strong fanbase.

I never got the hype over these games, played all but a couple of hours worth (wasted money) of the first and 3rd game.. i mean they seemed ok i guess, but nothing awesome. It takes forever to kill things with those dumb sheilds.

I tried online MP thinking it would be fun but remembered how long it took to turn around etc.. over a keyboard and mouse. I got over console FPS after the N64 went away personally, i really enjoy certain ones on PC though. But this series is overhyped imho.

I respect your opinion, but I'd have to disagree. I find the game the polar-opposite to dull. If you were going to say the game was dull, Halo Reach would fit the description better in my opinion. Halo takes skill (unlike Call of Duty) to take down the shields and kill. It's far from the 'first person to shoot gets the kill', in fact you could get shot twice or three times and still kill the other guy.

First comment is typical of someone new to the series and the latter, expected from a PC gamer. So I wouldn't necessarily say the game is bad due to these two reasons.

No surprise here, 343 has already said many times that they are working on multiple Halo titles right now and that some are "very exciting" meaning probably not just standard models. We'll see exactly what it is though, don't go getting your hopes up with dream ideas. It's best to go in with less hype and be pleasantly surprised with what the developers come up with rather than making unrealistic ideas and bashing them for not being mind-readers with infinite budgets...

Coming from a PS fan ,i actually love the HALO universe..
i've got fond memories of the early days on the OG xbox and even the Xbox 360..
There is no denying its a fun game to play with friends for sure..
There is a reason so many people play these games , and it's because they like them and have fun playing them.. so they must be doing something right?..

A halo RPG or MMO would be pretty awesome, but I don't think it's the latter.. When a game is Popular (in this case EXTREMELY popular) you don't just up and quit making the game and forget about it... You strive to make a better game each time..
Of course, there is always the backfire that Activision does once a year, but this is different..
We are gamers, regardless, I chose that life over any.

Haven't liked Halo since Halo 3, would love for something new to be brought to the table. But a 3rd person with rpg elements sounds a lot like Destiny besides it being 3rd person. Just want some new life brought to this franchise.

An kids at the top arguing about Exclusive for 1 console or the other hush. Sony runs that department, only reason MS is still even relevant is because of multiplats. COD alone has kept Xbox brand afloat. MS might be talking a lot about games, but they did this 8 years back when I purchased a 360.

We got Gears & Halo, anything else was forgotten. Prime example , next time you drive by a GameStop stop in an look at the wall of 360 games. It's way bigger then any other platforms section in the store. But half the games are $10 or less because most are horrible MS Studio games that nobody played or cared about.

Now do me a favor an answer this simple question 1 more time, Besides Gears, Halo, Fable please name a exclusive that sold, sold consoles, or was even worth $60.
