With two excellent titles coming out in January, Microsoft's Games with Gold program is looking at its best month yet.

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion
Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

Bloodborne is a game I still restart and play every few months. I would welcome just a re release in 60fps with a visual upgrade. It's a perfect game. If I was king for a day I would include the randomizer mods because then it would be a kind of rogue like and I could play it forever.
Definitely its best month no doubt. The other games they were giving out were just way too dang old.
Sleeping Dogs cool, but another dud with craft, I did have but it's still just ok. Now if it was Tomb raider then that would be close to psn plus, but infinite and dmcHD alone beats gold hands down. I stopped all gold downloads and doesn't matter what the games are now, I'm done with live anyway. If I didn't have my kids tied to my account I would close it. Wiiu/3ds/ps4 all the way. Ms security has made me give up 100%. Love the system hate the crap you go through to keep a live account

Sleeping Dogs is fantastic, also I dont think people realize PS+ was made as a premium membership that would give free games while Xbox Live was not. Why the hell would anyone buy PS+ if it was not needed to play online? Free s*** that's why! Why did people buy Live? They had too. Next gen is different but this is related to last gen. No one bought gold to get free games at least I hope not lol. PS+ had to have free games that would impress considering people spent $50 for really hardly any other reason, to get people onboard with the paying idea. Genius idea of Sony IMO, so the whole paying for online does not seem like a huge negative when free crap is flying at you left and right. I remember last gen when the two platforms were compared MS had the payment to do what the PSN did for free. They win again by giving things for free, unless MS steps their game up (I doubt it).
All this is kind of jumbled but its late so oh well.
