PlayStation UK Boss Hints At What SCE Worldwide Studios Are Up To

Dylan Z of iGR writes: "We already know what Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog are up to. Uncharted PS4 was announced on the eve of the PS4 launch and inFamous: Second Son is due March 21st, 2014. SCEJ and Guerrilla Games released Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall during the PS4 launch. And Evolution Studios’ Driveclub is supposedly due early 2014 after a delay took it out of the launch lineup. But that’s only a sampling of the stable that SCE has developing only for PlayStation."

Release Gravity Rush 1080p 120fps(3D) on PS4.

MazzingerZ3761d ago

LOL sorry, I missed that when I read it...I would have added a "respectlively" :)

sonic9893764d ago

to those who disagree dont worry crash bandicoot wont affect your generic abused shooters or other over used genres

ftrain3763d ago

Well since Naughty Dog are the ones who made Crash I believe you just called the Last of Us and Uncharted generic. That's a stupid thing to say.

sonic9893763d ago (Edited 3763d ago )

i am not the biggest uncharted or the last of us fan at all
i like the magical side of sony games like LBP , Sly cooper , Puppeteer , twisted metal etc
and i am sure that i am very intelligent and i know what i am saying

unkn0wn3763d ago

"and i am sure that i am very intelligent and i know what i am saying"

I can't be the only one who thought the irony in this was hilarious. Even if English wasn't your first language, you sound incredibly stupid and immature.

KwietStorm_BLM3763d ago

You're really so upset about a few internet disagrees, that you attacked an entire genre and other people's preferences? lol

TacoTaru3763d ago

Yeah, maybe they'll make a Bandicoot first person shooter with multiplayer...

sonic9893763d ago (Edited 3763d ago )

english means smart all of the sudden XD
i can be a genius and never know what English is ( i dont have to prove anything to anybody just sayin ) .
ok that was my opinion if you disagree with it thats your problem if agree with it thats your problem too
and yes i dont like shooters problem ?? every body hates something
have a nice day grown ups XDDDDDD

I agree, but they need to upgrade the franchise, not just do a Bandicoot game for the sake of making one.

The Sly title they made on PS3 wasn't a full PS3 experience, it felt PS2ish and was really disappointing.

Whoever is making a Bandicoot game needs to invest time and money to make it an awesome return and more so attract people who don't even know who Crash is.

NightStalker333763d ago

I'd rather not see another good platformer die on a playstation console.

sonic9893764d ago

JRPGs and Crash bandicoot will bring back the old Sony

solid_snake36563763d ago

Don't forget h hour the spiritual successor to socom.

popup3763d ago (Edited 3763d ago )

Please, please, please even. Going from PS2 to PS3, the biggest and most shocking disappointment for me was the huge reduction in Japanese titles. There was such an amazingly diverse and rich library of content in the past and Japan seems worryingly lacking the confidence they once had.

Come on Japan!, some of the most amazing and unique concepts in console computing have originated from your shores.

Here is wishing for a flood of new and exciting titles.

Nodoze3763d ago

Agree 100% on the Japan comment. It is like they all of the sudden forgot how to make games. It also does not help that each year the console market over there shrinks in favor of handhelds. I guess the Japanese just aren't home all that often, and when they are they are in front of a handheld and not a big screen HD screen.

Here's to hoping this all changes with the PS4.

mediate-this3763d ago

Japanese get so stagnant, i cant stand the whole beta male look of jrpg's, and they are so corny. There are a few i like but alot of them are the same. I dont think jrpgs will do well in this era of time. Maybe we they will

Mexxan3764d ago (Edited 3764d ago )

Yeah, bring them on THIS year. As for jRPG's - just downloaded p4g - awesome. I'm up for a next gen of that genre.

LakerGamerEnthusiast3764d ago

This year? I'm afraid you're out of luck considering we got 5 days left sorry pal :P

Yoko Taro Passes Respect; Says Stellar Blade Is "Much Better" Than Nier: Automata

Stellar Blade's creative director, Hyung Tae Kim, has also claimed that the game is deeply inspired by Nier: Automata.

shadowhaxor10h ago

I feel like Yoko is downgrading Automata because he has expressed multiple times he'd like to revisit the universe, but Squenix hasn't been keen about it. We know he loves 2B and would love to take her out for another spin, so maybe this is how he gets the company to think about it.

gold_drake8h ago

u do realise that Square made Nier a franchise after Automata right?

Taro is downplaying it cause hes not a snob like most of the directors that think their games are gods gifts to the human race.

he said the same thing when being interviewed during the development of Automata too, that he couldnt have done it without the devs.

hes just a humble guy rly.

shadowhaxor8h ago

I mean, Neir existed before Automata with both OG Niers and Drakenguard. I don't count NieR Replicant, since it's a remake of the OG games. Sure, we have Reincarnation, which is still stuck on mobile devices (quite a damned shame). I just remember Taro saying he'd love to revisit Automata if Square Enix lets him. I do recall there was supposed to be a sequel to Automata, but it wasn't confirmed and I'd imagine it was just for Reincarnation.

Enjoy Taro, he seems like a cool guy, who loves the ladies and is humble. But damn, don't put down one of your masterpieces.

Cacabunga3h ago(Edited 3h ago)

I really liked Automata and cannot wait for Stellar Blade

isarai4h ago

I get he's giving them some credit, but i strongly disagree based on the demo. I honestly don't think any aspect of it feels good, it's not bad, it's just kinda ok but definitely a little jank. Also the souls like formula it is adopting does not help it imo. I was looking forward to this for years, now im just kinda let down honestly 🫤

H93h ago

Man exputer can you stop putting words like that after someone's name, i read Yoko Taro Passes and just went blank

Snookies122h ago

Same... Awful way to word that title's beginning.

Hereandthere3h ago

Thats because Sony had a heavy hand in funding and developing this game.

purple1012h ago

They sent in XDEV one of their traveling support studios to Korea to lend a hand if I’m not mistaken, Sony pulled out the big guns to help this studio

jwillj2k41h ago

(From the demo) Stellar has better direction in terms of stage layout if you like that ninja gaiden type feel. Nier is more polished by far.
