It’s almost time for the New Year, and we’re ready to kick-off 2014 in a big way. January’s Instant Game Collection will offer PlayStation Plus members loads of amazing titles, starting off with a new PlayStation 4 title — Don’t Starve. A wilderness survival game wrapped in a cute art style, you’ll take control of a Gentleman Scientist trying to make his way home from a mysterious place. Be warned – this is one of those games where you’ll die a lot, but if you ever get frustrated, just look at how cute your buddy Chester is and I’m sure everything will be okay.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

Dmc.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Huzaifah from eXputer: "Devil May Cry 5, the latest iteration in the iconic DMC franchise by Capcom, still holds its own as a fantastic hack-and-slash in 2024."
Mum's dead, dad’s not too far behind her and it’s left to a couple of brothers to save the day - obviously! Looks like we’re going on an adventure! Brothers, a tale of two sons, is a remake of the original title from Josef Fares - you know, the “F##k the Oscars” guy! The original launched back in 2013 and in the 11 years since then, the original game has become a cult classic!
And 2014 starts off with a bang!
Bioshock Infinite for PS3 is pretty huge. I got rid of my PS3 when I upgraded to the PS4.
back then i get PS+ just because i'm enjoy the auto update feature and backup store, i kind of lazy ppl so i just want to let my PS3 hanlde all update itself
then before i even realize the games keep coming, lol, belive me, i lost count of how many digital game i have in my digital libary, but who care right, especially when you don't even have time to deal with your backlog

I dunno if I would have worded it as blackblades did, but the PS3's will be a valid console for at least another 2 years.
Seeing as the PS4's are not backwards compatible, then the lifespan is indefinate for the PS3's really. The 2 years though, there will be games still being made for only for those consoles(although they may be ported to PS4 later).
For example, Dark Souls 2, which is maybe my most anticipated title isn't even coming to PS4... as of yet anyhow.
Some DLC is still to come for the PS3 as well, like "The Last of Us"
To say it was a stupid choice is jumping the gun, as no one knows your situation but you. Perhaps you have no interest in any of the things I just mentioned. TO each their own.
A good example of a "port" coming to PS4 in January is Tomb Raider. I will pick it up(at full price), because I know it's a good game, and I never played it at all on PS3(so many titles back logged I never got around to buying it).
On a different note(which is the actual topic)... I'm really liking the PS+ membership, as I didn't have it until I got my PS4. Some nice titles in my library already... with more to come.
For BOTH systems. The more the merrier!!!
Merry Christmas all!
I'm living off PSPlus with PS3, PS4, and PSVita. Too many games. Don't even want any more systems. Plus, gotta give my PC a little lovin from time to time.
