Xbox One is at the top of the "Most Wished For" chart on amazon for games, while PS4 follows suit in second position. Wii U, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PS3 are a lot lower.

Went into gamestop the other day and saw loads of Xbox Ones... Went into Sam's club today and saw an entire display of Xbox Ones... If the demand is supposedly so great why aren't they selling..

Not to mention I ordered an Xbox One from Best buy online 2 days ago (I assumed they would be out of stock in my area.. there are alot of 360 supporters here) then literally 5 minutes after I ordered my One online my friend called me up and asked if I wanted to go make a quick gamestop run with him.. I said sure and when I got there I was suprised to see a sign saying they had Xbox Ones in stock.. so I called Best Buy and told them I just put in my order like 15 minutes ago and asked if I could cancel.. they said I could when I got home and told me how.. so I bought the Xbox One (Day One edition might I add) along with Dead Rising 3 and Ryse (both also the day one editions) at Gamestop and went home.

But when I got home and tried to cancel my order it said it had already been shipped so I couldn't cancel.. So I called up Best buy and complained and they said I could simply ship it back free of charge and i'll get refunded. But if they already had Xbox One's ready to ship within the hour of being ordered and an entire Display of them at Sam's club and Day one editions at gamestop (Sam's club could have been Day One editions too but I didn't check) I can't believe this imaginary demand that these sites are reporting.. not to mention the fact that Microsoft says they're sold out... yea... right.. on a lighter note.. Dead Rising 3 is pretty good :D but the controller.... omg the 360's controller was better.....

Amazon has already been proven inconclusive to the final sales results. Time and time again X1 does better on Amazon but PS4 wins in weekly sales.

Microsoft has money-hatted Amazon to probably send out more emails about the X1. And Microsoft has supplied Amazon better while Sony has probably supplied Best Buy better.

Is this for North America Amazon? I know that Xbox is very popular here, they ramped up commercials big time. I see an Xbox commercial on all the time now, and not many PS4... I have been looking for a PS4 for a while now without being able to find one. I know that doesn't mean much. it could be Sony just can't make enough at the moment. One way to look at it is that Sony has spread themselves thin releasing in so many markets so its harder to find one whereas MS has held off on alot of the smaller markets for the X1 and not spread themselves thin in the larger markets like the US.

OT, probably the main reason for this is that the xbox1 appeals to a wider audience while the ps4 focuses on the "hardcore" gamer. I'm more of a casual console gamer these days and spend my serious gaming time on my pc. My time on console is mostly used on apps other than gaming which is one of the main reasons i chose xb1, for its media features.

It's signs like this that should make people on this site stop crying and fighting about sales so early into this generation. It's way too early to predict one way or the other. @Majin Sony does have a great staple of games coming out next year. Driver Club, Infamous, Uncharted and The Order. And E3 trust me E3 you'll be drowning in games after coming out Sony's presser.

But according my estimate. Titanfall, Halo 5 and Quantum Break are the top anticipated exclusives for X1. Narrowly beating out PS4's exclusives games. "Narrowly" Meaning not by much. Infamous and The order I think are the more anticipated for PS4 games.

But The elephant in the room out of X1's games is Titanfall that is until MS drops info and shows gameplay of Halo 5 at E3.

Media molecule and naughty dog are two of the best in the business. Theres talk about another getaway which could be great. However, I'm most interested in seeing what SSM has in store for us. I'm sure most have heard about the order (which soft body physics could be really impressive), but it sounds like the team that made GOW3 has been working on something huge since its release. It's supposed to have the biggest budget of anything sony has put out and is being written by a battlestar galactica writer.

The Mario/Luigi U bundle was sold out in GameStop, Target, Best Buy and other retail stores. While the WiiU itself is still plentiful, that one bundle was selling out at a point. They more than just rumors.

I checked Best buy Canada not long ago and it was sold on, they restocked now but it's listed as limited.

-stupidity
-reasonable expectation of a wish coming true. Ie-ps4 much harder to get means you wish for the other guy since its in stock. Yes...I was at Walmart in toronto and they had 5 xbones behind glass.

For all those looking to turn this into some kind of debate... being 1 & 2 on the wish list is like being 2 & 1. It's basically the same. There really is no bragging rights here other than you know that both consoles are in high demand. I have no doubts the Xbox One's more TV friendly appeal may be making some in roads with many more casual gamers but it really is a moot point. Both are selling well, both will continue to sell well.

Will be called out as a fanboy for this...but this is fishy.

Why? Sales are higher for PS4 when supply isn't the issue for the One. Many stores near me and MANY others in NA, have lots of XB1s, but can't keep stock on PS4, despite receiving new stock.

That and when new PS4's turn up on amazon, there are feeding frenzies.

"Wishlist" stats seem HIGHLY tamperable, since no purchase is being made, it's basically just an online poll.

Not a fanboy, just a skeptic.

Both systems are selling incredibly well. Just because the Xbox One topped the "Most Wished For" at one point in time doesn't mean it that its rigged results.

Maybe a lot of people want both systems, and the Xbox One stock makes it more widely available/more desirable right now - who knows?

I just find it funny how any relatively good press the system gets, out come the conspiracy theories.

While I feel Killer Instinct is the only game that interests me, it looks like a 360 could handle it without issue, the rest dont do anything. The PS4 just shows something more promise to me, MS lost focus, the 1st xbox was amazing then they just rested on their ass in typical MS fashion.

What I find odd is, if it is the most wished for, why are people not buying it?? I was at best buy saturday, had some in stock, I called gamestop and they announce they have them in stock, I went into a different gamestop and they have it painted on their window "WE HAVE XBOX ONE IN STOCK". Either its too expensive and people dont want to shell out or they just dont want it....or SONY is creating artificial demand and slightly choking supply, or MS is flooding retail and their is am overabundant supply....PS4 nowhere to be found.

exactly its the most wished for from a online vendor shop but its all over the shelves in retail stores across the globe not just america. If people wished to own the X1 so bad how come they aren't flying off the store shelves? These X1 articles are all BS and every time a truthful sony articles is reported its countered by a sketchy untrustworthy BS X1 article. You go out in the world looking for a PS4 and can clearly see its a hot item that's hard to find because its selling out so fast but X1's are everywhere. If you wanted a X1 you don't have to wish for it or be on some waiting list all the stores have them!

Depends on how many Foxconn (PS4) and Flextronics (XB1) are producing. Maybe a million a month is humanly possible. PS4 is spread throughout 48 countries while XB1 is flooding 13 markets.

The truth is... demand is high for both consoles. If you got one, you WANT the other. We definitley need both consoles doing well. I want them all competing for our business. When a company gets complacent and thinks that we are supposed to just "give" them money (because they put something on a store shelf) that's when we get poor products. I prefer PS4, but I definitely want Xbox One to sell just as well as PS4.
