Tonight, a PlayStation Exec Was Moved to Tears

Kotaku: Console launches are emotional events—for gamers and game makers. And tonight in Seoul, one PlayStation exec broke down and wept.

PlayStation passion.

iamnsuperman3781d ago

It has probably been one stressful time to try and hit the targets. Especially since "this is a country where PC gaming rules and consoles don't"

mewhy323780d ago

there's no shame in crying a little.

Gekko363780d ago

@All, Sickbag anyone? In all honesty crying over a toy is vomit inducing.

blackbeld3780d ago

Yep,

And its good to see PS4 exec. loves his work and loves PS4 fans.

Sir you got my respect.

cleft53780d ago

I think it's amazing to see how gaming is able to bridge boundaries where words and actions can't. This truly makes me happy to be a gamer and proud that I own a PS4.

Korix3780d ago

@Gekko36
If you think he's crying over a toy, then you must have no idea why people cry at the Oscars or other award shows.
It's not about a statuette or toy, it's about the achievement behind it.

@Gekko36

As the post stated, it seems more deeper than just Playstation. Japan had created a lot of enemies in the past, and Korea was no different. Probably seeing something inspiring to him that despite him being Japanese Koreans are very welcoming either way. So thanks gaming!

Hope China will show the same sentiment and gaming will prove peace is inevitable.

Looks like he runs on the good ol' Emotion Engine!

TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
