Wii U Trending At Walmart Online

Once again, Wii U is coming up as a bestseller in a US online retailer, and is in fact sold out online again. How is the console really selling?

I work in the FedEx warehouse. Our terminal has been delaying trailers like a whole day since the holiday starting kicking in, so yeah it might be it bit slow in some areas

The Mario/Luigi Wii U bundle is sold out online. It even says "Sold Out Online" next to the item.

Do you even bother to look at your own link that you posted? There are other models available, but the article is specifically referring to that bundle.

It said the "holiday Bundle for $324 is "out of stock online", available in stores
but it was not a Mario bundle- It was a somewhat odd bundle were you could choose a game and an accessory (or game) but if you choose the Wi mote it adds $20 to the price

The games you could choose from are mostly from the early releases at launch- not Mario or Luigi though-

The pricing for most of there bundles was confusing- A Zombi U bundle for $389- A Deluxe Wii u w Nintendo land for $399

If a parent tried to order one and was not sure of what they wanted and were not extra careful they would buy the wrong bundle-

upon further review - to say the "Wii U is sold out again" in the article header is very misleading- The Wii U is not sold out or remotely close- it looks as if 1 bundle was out of stock online but in stock at walmart stores across the country- There were plenty of other Wi u s and Wii U bundles available online and at stores

This is as of 11:00am Pacific time. Not saying they will not get more in, but not in stock now...There are plenty of other Wii U bundles in stock though.

Last night I saw a big Wii U kiosk at the mall with a lot of people crowding around it. It was right next to Gamestop too, which made it convenient for anyone who liked what they saw to stop in and get one. I don't plan on buying any of the new consoles anytime soon, but I thought it was pretty cool to see Nintendo marketing their console aggressively for a change.

How does it make it "convienient" just because they see a wII U kiosk doesnt mean they are going to run into gamestop and pick one up they will probably go back home and think about the purchase.

I'm starting to see more ads from them even on YouTube good to see Nintendo really trying to push the WiiU. Even though I wish this were true it needs more than one retailer to give it that nice push ;)

Considering there has been overstock of Wii U s since January last year, I hate to see the console miss 1 sale due to being sold out as good as it sounds-

although it looks like they may have re upped supply quickly as it does not appear to be sold out now at WMT online unless I am looking at it wrong

Looked it up and the WiiU is the only this gen console available online. Both PS4 and XBO are only available through certain stores.

Improved sales for the WiiU is good news but lets not spoil it by calling it a best seller or sold out, as it is neither of those things.

They have about fifteen XOnes left.

No. They talked up the feature before launch but then left it up to Devs to integrate those features into their games rather than system wide.

Went to a Walmart yesterday in South Carolina - no new games,or console bundles they were all sold out. Only the older titles and accessories were left, except Skylanders and Disney Infinity
