Heads-up: Xbox Live is on the blink today. The official status page notes that "Xbox Live Core Services" may be "limited" - in particular, you might have trouble signing into a child account. The Xbox 360 is the only console affected.

Stop talking like that, you pay for a service & it damn well not have any issues, this is implied to both services for that matter. Now that you have to pay to play online for PS4 I expect no problems & better services... but this goes to show both online services are not perfect. And most likely never will be.

Every service has issues. We don't live in a perfect world. Anti-theft services get hacked. Online services go down. Even sexual services get complicated with STD's. Nothing is perfect.

The cloud joke us only made because Xbox fan boys touted it as the second coming of Christ. Whenever Sony has an issue with the network it's "live is so much better and more polished". When there is an issue with Live it's "meh". Your very lucky they went back on the always on connectivity. They invested so much and it just goes to show no matter what, there will be issues.

Its only happening to child accounts on xbx 360.. my brother and cousin have been playing forza5 and cod online all day with their friends and no issues whatsoever. it doesnt sound like anything to worry about even if it was, i trust Ms would take care of it asap.

This has been going on forever. They keep updating security and if you dont log in for awhile and your old security hasn't been updated your fucked. U need two emails a phone number a passcode and two step verify. Its fucking insane. If you change phone numbers, dont have the email address( maybe you changed isps) your fucked, It took me 6 months to recover my account. And I filled out all the dumb crap to get it back. didnt matter. The fact is all thay had to do is reset the security and your ok . That took 10 tens of calls over 6 months to get the right person. Now my kids account, the same thing. I have a windows phone and two xboxes and a year of live. If they dont fix my kids account this time I'm 100% done. I can unlock my bank account easier. I went through the ps3 hack and its still not hard to get your accounts fix on psn. I sold my ps3 durng the hack and when I bought another one . I still got all my shit back. Xbox just tells you to make another acoount. Really? after 100s of dollars in games acheivements and dlc. I have 5 gigs just in rockband. Well I got it all back once it was fix but , I just went all ps3/4 and selling my windowns phone. I'm done. Its not the games or system its the account crap
