yes interesting, but i'm not gonna buy it..
i already bought SF4 and SSF4.

AaronMK3782d ago

At one point Capcom had a hard time learning to count to III, now they can't count to V.

Muffins12233782d ago

Dont buy it then, its honestly for people who never bought the game before and want to play it and just re-marketing it.

@AaronMK
Capcom is bad with this but at least the don't charge full price like Arc System Works does with Blaze Blue. I bought the first two but never again. They are the masters of milking.

Ultra??! :P

What's next.....Ultra Super Special Mega Thunder Street Fighter? :D

MadLad3782d ago

"Lightning", not "Thunder" . . . but yes. Q1 2015

This is a reply to your post below.

"Pst *whispers* Your fanboy is showing."

I don't have a fanboy sorry. I was trying to point out that I've been hearing the same joke for the last 20 years.

I_am_Batman3782d ago

Wow what a great joke. Never heard that one before./s

On Topic: I can't wait to try the new characters out. I'm also excited about the new modes.

Pst *whispers* Your fanboy is showing.

xActionBasturdx3782d ago

Me and you both. Looking forward to the new characters and the balance...those makoto and cody buffs are looking nice

bluelightspeed3782d ago

It's my belief that these releases are meant to milk the tourney players. I mean really, who can't see that a few new characters and a minor balance changes are low development costs?

Great business for Capcom...... provided that the crackhea...tourney players bite.

Hufandpuf3782d ago

The tourney players asked for this though. It's not like they didn't know. The game isn't being released for the casual crowd or to many millions of dollars.

DragonKnight3782d ago

Balancing shouldn't be charged for, and I remember a time where new characters were unlocked, not bought.

Baka-akaB3782d ago

People were even also asked if they cared for only a rebalance patch , or wanted more .. more isnt free with any fighting game studios . and they wanted more

I_am_Batman3782d ago (Edited 3782d ago )

Are you telling me that $15 for 5 new characters, 2 at least two new modes, 6 new stages and some major improvements in gameplay mechanics balancing is too much?

Vandamme213782d ago

The music sounds like something I heard before...looks awesome though...definetly buying it.

Looking back to 2014 and Ultra Street Fighter IV

Jahanzeb writes: "It’s easy to make fun of fighting game revisions/expansions, but there’s no denying each entry bolstered the fighting roster and gameplay substantially, particularly with the swansong entry Ultra Street Fighter IV."

'After the release of Street Fighter III: Third Strike in 1999, Capcom took the cast of world warriors on a bit of a detour with the Street Fighter Zero/Alpha prequel series.'.

Alpha was released in 1995.
