TSA writes: "On Saturday night myself, Blair and Craig tuned into VGX to see what new games would be announced, as well as what kind of new information would be offered about existing games. I had some excitement prior to the event because I wanted to see new things, but instead of an interesting spectacle we sat through an ordeal that appeared to mock the games industry and misunderstood the target audience."
The holiday ends and the boys talk about beaks for days, the upcoming game awards, and predictions for PSX.
Bethesda has yet to confirm Fallout 4 for production despite the huge anticipation and hype shown by the fans. This was the case until yesterday, when a leak image somehow hints that Fallout 4 is in development.
There has been numerous articles based on that same tweet. I refuse to get my hopes up since I do that too much anytime Fallout 4 anything gets rumored/speculated. If anything I'll be shocked if it gets shown at VGA 2014.
I'm right there with Paytaa. We have been trolled since New Vegas of a Fallout 4. And everytime it never happens. No way am I going to even think that a new fallout is coming. NOPE!
I REFUSE!
*please..please...please be a new Fallout!!*
Probably another hoax like the rest of it was, while Bethesda didn't deny it to use it as free advertisement.
Definitely wont be an announcement. Bethesda people have even stated there wont be another Fallout anytime soon
A creature of basement-banished isolation, their faces a contorted cross between Jon Heder and two kilos of silly putty, with skin the colour and texture of a peeled achacha. That is what most people will have you believe is an apt description of the average gamer – a being so out of touch with reality that their only escape from the terrors of social interaction is to take refuge in the sweet embrace of a virtual space. Though even more hand-clammily terrifying is the gaming community’s absolute lack of interest in a much needed reconstruction of our self-image.
Exactly how i feel... Good Read
I think Spike should give it up. It's obvious their grasp of what gaming culture is can be compared to CBS's grasp of what geek culture is (big bang theory).
IGN should host a proper award show.
VGX/VGA's are horrible shows for sure but I don't for a moment think they will set the games industry back. Why? Because nobody really cares about the event. Sure we watch it for reveal trailers but from all I have seen there is not one person out their that ever "expects" the production value of this show to be "good" let alone "great". We all go in expecting sh*t and we get sh*t. The 3hr event wont even make a TV appearance with out being "HEAVILY" edited down to 1hr...that should tell you all you need to know. 2hrs of fluff..1hr of content.
Anyway the show has been around for years now and the industry has kept going just fine despite its crappiness so I don't see how this show is going to be the one to "set it back".
I'm glad I did not watch that trash, I stopped anything VG"AXZFU" it's always been trash with terrible jokes and big names who know nothing.
G4 had issues, but it was never this bad. Shit I miss Techtv.
