Yea interesting numbers.. MS seems to be winning by having more xbox ones in stock. Sony needs to step up manufacturing or most people will just get w.e is availabe. Wii u or xbox one

The weird part about that is that even if Sony gets more PS4s (of course they will) most systems are going to go to backed up preorders anyway. You are going to have to be in the right place at the right time to get a PS4 before Christmas if you haven't ordered it already.

Still Sony has to be happy with the results so far, they were outsold and still maintain a lead in the US.

This is because Sony allocated PS4s for the Euro launch.

And how is X1 winning when in week #1 X1 and PS4 were tied with around 1.2 mil worldwide, but by week #2 it's 2.1 vs 1.6 mil in favor of PS4 worldwide. The gap is widening just like all the smart N4G users predicted. All the others who were on the contrary can eat crow.

i don't know why people keep thinking this nobody's gonna buy a wii u or xbone cause ps4 is sold out they wait
the reasons these consoles sell is cause good games are coming out and there are good value bundles on the market
even if ps4 was stocked they would sell more but still only to the people who wanted one

Wow, it seems wii U held it's own afterall. despite all the nay saying. number 2 aint too bad. they just broke 4 million worldwide. Nice for nintendo. They might just hold their lead for a lil bit longer.

Meanwhile, the software totals are interesting. ps4 owners did half of the wii U software totals for the year in only a few weeks. Sony gamers definitely buy games.

Xbox one will crush Sony again in America. Sony fanboys thought xbone would flop but instead has shown the Xbox brand is just too strong for that. America belongs to xbox. But as long as Sony has Europe and Japan, they'll be fine. It just won't be a one console monopoly that most fanboys want to believe. The ps2 days were a one time thing.

i dont think xbox will win the US this time.. More sales will come in when watchdogs & infamous release for PS4 & that alone might cripple them for good here.. What does xbox one have after this launch? PS4 has alot of incoming software exclusives that will drive sales through the roof.. 3rd & 1st party so demand will stay high..

Microsoft has killer marketing. They don't need a ton of games to sell their console. They proved that with the 360. So if a supposedly "doomed" console like the Xbox one can sell over 300,000 consoles in America last week, I feel Microsoft has a good chance at keeping their number 1 market for this gen.

they may have titan fall but thats nothing compared to the onslaught of ps4 exclusives coming in from 1st & 3rd parties.. Shooters will sell on xbox but action, adventure, rpgs, etc will make PS4 shine far beyond shooters alone.. plus ps4 will have damn near everything xbox gets from 3rd party anyway.. Deep down from capcom, the order from 1st party, infamous of course, shadow of the beast, daylight by atlus, & many many more.. xbox cannot just rely on a few shooters by 3rd party to save em

I agree. Sony fanboys think the ps4 was going to crush it but that simply won't happen. Xbox is too big of a brand. But both will do very well.

Its not fanboys. Its consensus. By the end of year 2, the install base for PS4 will exceed the Xbox One by at least 2:1.

All signs point that way now, and by the end of the generation that gap may be upward of 3:1. Just look at the current demand. When one system cannot keep up with the demand, it dominates. That's just the way it has always been.

Matter of fact, the only fanboy I see is you, since you're outright refusing to accept the situation in the face of the numbers.

To me Black Friday is not a place to sell expensive/luxury/rare and fully priced items. It should be about discounting products that are already established on the market, like a PS3/PSV Black Friday BANDURU.

Total US sales are almost 50/50 as an X1 owner I thought I was in the major minority, but it looks like things are more evenly matched then the internet has you believe. which is a good thing! competition garners better products for everyone. Then we the gamers win! Happy gaming!

I was expecting Sony to start out far stronger than XB1. Got outsold by the Wii U. Great for Nintendo, bad for Sony.

When Titan Fall releases ... depending if the 360 fanbase wants to move up to next gen ... I can see Titan Fall moving a ton of XB1s early next year and give it an early lead over PS4 in the states.
