'Titanfall', 'Quantum Break', 'Witcher 3', new Wii U title to be revealed at VGX

XMNR: The Spike Video Game Awards have been replaced with VGX, an "all-day live multi-platform gaming event," to debut Saturday, Dec. 7. New details for the show were confirmed Tuesday including several world premiere trailers for PS4, Xbox One and PC titles like The Witcher 3 and Xbox exclusives like Titanfall and Quantum Break. Additionally, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be on hand and there will be a special music performance based on the soundtrack from Grand Theft Auto V.

As long as Fallout 4 makes an appearance. I'll be happy. I'd love to see gameplay, but my money is on them doing a teaser similar to Skyrim. Just a glimpse though would be awesome.

I agree. Any type of Fallout announement would be awesome. Naughty Dog already said we wouldn't hear anything else Uncharted related for a while, The Order 1886 I doubt will make an appearance, but I'd love to see Fallout 4. Pretty sure it'd be a teaser trailer lasting 15 seconds.

I watch for the game announcements. As much as I like new trailers for already announced games, it's the world premier announcements which make it almost worth sitting through 2 hours of commercials.

My far out guess for the new Nintendo game is a mature themed Takamuras Ninja Castle using an improved version of Skyward Swords motion+ controls. Or maybe Shin ens Fast Racing will end up being the new F-Zero. Either would be awesome IMO but not even remotely likely...

They might have just as much as a presence as MS and Sony, actually. They'll probably announce something new, then talk about the hardcore stuff coming to the system next year (bayonetta 2, Zelda, X, smash bros 4, more?) just like MS and Sony are.

New IP instead of pre-existing Mario, Zelda etc would be nice. If they are going to go back to their IP's then I honestly think it's time they did a Pokemon Z game and sell it with another tablet so you can have battles together with friends. They should also have exclusive pokemon if you own X or Y and link them.

Waiting to see more from it, but Quantum Break, much like 1886 (considering they both end up meeting the expectation I've built in my head for them thus far), may just be the game that makes me grab an Xbox One early on.

That would be up to Microsoft, same as with Alan Wake. Took 2 years to get it onto the PC.

But Remedy was the main reason I supported the Xbox 360, I love everything Alan Wake, and I am super excited to learn more about Quantum Break.

It really didn't. Sad, considering nothing about that series was half-assed. From the DLC to American Nightmare, Remedy kept the quality in check.
The game actually did a lot better on PC, if I remember correctly.

That said, I'm still looking forward to the mystery announcement from Nintendo alongside the new trailers for the other games.

The new game will be Mario and Sonic Adventure or shenmue 3. I have reason to believe one of those 2 are in production. SEGA still has an exclusive game for Wii U and Nintendo is rumored to be working with SEGA for a game. And how can you not notice the obvious hints they are dropping about mario and sonic having a platformer together?

With the shape Nintendos sales are currently in they NEED it to be something amazing. If they release a Zelda or Metroid game that looks as good as that link vs the spider demo did then they may sell more systems. Shenmue 3 would also move units.

Well, they said that VGX would allow them to show a "new look" at an upcoming Wii U game. Cranky Kong was leaked very recently for DK, so people are worried that that will be the announcement.

It would be a disappointing reveal, because we already know about it. Maybe if that's what they were planning on showing, they'll add something fresh as to not disappoint us.

ZombiU 2 would be great if they added 5 player, online multiplayer modes.

The gamepad is so perfect for Dungeon Master like gameplay.
