Why does it not follow your opinion? If you wrote a review, assuming your smart enough to complete a whole sentence, would you like it if someone called it a joke? The reviewer is a fan of Forza, what did you expect? Its his opinion.... He not entitled to one? Are rights reserved for fanboys?

Opinion over something that is personal? I don't understand what gives people the right to tell someone what they should like or enjoy other than the complete lack of respect for that someone and his/her ability to come up with their own decisions and choices.

He could be talking about the fact that it's half the game the last Forza was minus the shiny new graphics. I prefer Forza over GT, but when it loses half its content, a 9 is a joke of a score. The game is a solid 7, that's a B grade here in Canada and a worthy score, looking forward to the next one when all that lost content is returned.

Half the content of Forza 4, stripped out features from Forza 4. Is an incomplete game with missing content being re-sold for almost the original asking price. Really worth ignoring?

Yes it has less content. That's because they didn't go half-a*sed and add a bit of polish to the assets they already had. They laser-scanned the tracks, they re-modelled the cars. That's to their credit. Forza 5 looks like a strong foundation for the revamp of the series imo.

BUT Gamers don't care what went into it, the end result matters most so yes it's fair if people want to knock marks off I guess.

Should the score be penalised for content relative to Forza 4? Or as a title on it's own merit? Perhaps a score relative to other games on the market? All of the above really, but a score can't convey it all. Which is why the body of a review is more important than the number at the end.

Having said that, I wont buy it or recommend it while it's structured around micro-transactions. 2/10.

Just because the reviewer's opinion does not match your own, that doesn't make it any less accurate and it certainly doesn't make it a "joke".
If your opinion is that the Forza series isn't a good one, that's fine. That is your opinion.
Calling the review a joke because it doesn't fit your idea of a good game, however, is not.

Everything at PSN4G is a joke if it has anything to do with Xbox. It's pathetic... Anyways I have Forza Day One but stuck on Battlefield 4 on PS4 and Dead Rising to really dive into it. Still all the glowing reviews leave me optimistic despite the microtransaction model

There is a glitch in free mode where you select a rental car, then after that you go to buy cars, choose the car you want to try, keep going until you get to the screen where it asks you if you want to pay with credits or tokens, then you cancel and you should have that car selected now. :)

Forza 4 trumps Forza 5.

Forza 5 might honestly deserve a 9 or better if Turn 10 didnt cut out a bunch of shit from 4. But get your money out and dole out the cash for content cut from Forza 4 and the rest of the microtransaction bullshit.
