Looking around on the internet at Black Friday deals it becomes painfully obvious retailers found out about the new systems at the same time as we did maybe a tiny bit sooner. These sales are set up months in advance as it is usually the day a large retailer takes the biggest loss on their items. So they have to figure months beforehand exactly what they are going to discount and run it through all the proper channels then print the ad. Some retailers added something for PS4 or Xbox One in at the last second most of them didn't.

i think the games priced at 50-60 will only go down to $30ish.

you're probably best off waiting until they hold special sales to get rid of stock on ps3 games for $5-10 later this year or next year to get the absolute best deal if you alredy have a pretty big backlog.

you know they're going to want to get rid of the ps3 stuff to make room for next gen.

i'm pretty set. i won't be spending any money this year aside from maybe a 5-10 dollar game. you could have gotten a better deal already on a few things they're promoting.
