A-list game designer, Hideki Kamiya, took to twitter today respond a fans concern about whether or not Platinum Games would be able to port and release the first entry to the Bayonetta franchise in time before the launch of Bayonetta 2.

I would love to see that happen because I am purchasing Bayo 2 without a doubt but I haven't played the first one.
This would be a great opportunity for me to familiarize myself with the Bayonetta universe before jumping into the second one.
This is all fine and dandy provided they can meet two requirements.
1. That they actually improve the original in terms of framerates and possibly resolution
2. That they release the first one at a COMPETITIVE price point. If this is going to end up just being a straight port, I don't want to be paying $60 for it.
