Pearl Abyss confirms to be planning a console release for Black Desert, but development hasn't even started yet.
Black Desert Online is celebrating its 8th birthday with a handful of major milestones since the game Korean launch in 2014.
Today Pearl Abyss hosted its traditional Calpheon Ball news livestream, and the developer of Black Desert certainly had a lot to share.
I'm shocked it's coming to the Xbox consoles, just seems a waste or money and time for little in return.
Well, you shouldn't. Black Desert is already available on the Xbox One, and thanks to Microsoft's streamlined game SKU management, it's highly probable that the developers simply have to press a button to make it a native port. The one that will need more time and money is the Playstation version, that will likely need a completely new SKU for the native version to work.

Only the reality, unfortunately. Sony did an excellent job on the PS5 software, but they didn't put the same effort into the PSN. The way the system handles licenses is terrible.
The seasonal end date has been removed.
It 'a good opportunity to make known this game also allows users to ps4 and Xbox1.
It will be ready first on PS4, I wonder if they will hold the release until the X1 version is ready?
I doubt it will take them long. Look at Planetside 2, Warframe, Blacklight and so on for PS4. Took them less than a year to build/port a PS4 version from their code. Well PS2 is still in development, but its launch comes out sooner than Driveclub I believe.
