I remember when my Dark Souls virginity was taken. Good times.

I remember when I played Dark Souls for the first time, I immediately picked the Master Key. I felt that a key that could unlock any door would be useful right from the start and boy was I right. Just in case I was wrong though, I watched some youtube vids on the other gifts, and I was so glad I picked the Key. Lol.

You ruined your experience by watching videos!!! Did you watch the speed runs or walkthroughs before you even started? Did you go crying to Youtube or a strategy guide at the first whiff of danger?!?!

I'm just messing with you. Like a good scotch, this game can be played neat, with a touch of water, or on the rocks... In other words (respectively) with NO help, a little help here and there when you're REALLY stuck, or with guides & videos. Its all up to personal preference.

Me? I like my Souls neat. And I'm dying waiting for DS2... my self inflicted embargo of all DS2 coverage is torture.

Nah, I came into the game as a Demon's Souls veteran so I went into it knowing what to expect. I only looked up about the gifts to see if they're worth getting.

The Pendant was 100% worth it, once you figured out its secret.

Just started this game and a lot of this sounds familiar.

This game was simply amazing. Cant wait f or dark souls 2. It can be frustrating but with patience it isn't all that harf. I just love the combat, classes, the immersive environment. One of my favorites.

I’m Glad Atlus & SE Changed Dates To Avoid Competing With Shadow Of The Erdtree

Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."

More intelligent than guerilla games

Atlus is releasing their game one week before Erdtree, SE is releasing theirs one week after.

HZD released four days before Zelda, HFW released one week before Elden Ring.

It seems to me like they are still releasing their games too close to Erdtree.

I Wish More Games Embraced FromSoft's Approach To Difficulty

Danish from eXputer: "FromSoftware's unique approach to difficulty in their games allows players to customize their own experience, which is really cool."

"Souls Like" is a literal genre.

I'd just like to point out that Rise of the Ronin which recently released is in large part a Souls Like as is the upcoming Stellar Blade. And both games have 60 FPS.

More? Like every other game in the last
5 years has “Souls” elements or difficulty. I think we need to pump the brakes a bit Jesus they don’t all the the “grind or die”/“get good” mentality.

I would advise reading the article. What you're saying is not the point we tried to make.

Yeah let’s have only souls likes 🙄
