In Ground Zeroes, you will only have one chopper, in The Phantom Pain, a lot

People who have been watching the gameplay videos of Metal Gear Solid V will have an idea of how the chopper is going to be used in the game. In the latest Kojima Productions podcast, some small details on how this element will differ between the two parts were given.

Can't wait for these. Just to silence the haters. GZ will be identical to size and scope of Peace Walker, hence the price

CocoWolfie3809d ago

not going against you but you cant know that for sure right.. but i would say i hope its bigger, i hope kojima showcases what this generation can do, although ground zeros wont be as spectacular compared to phantom pain, i hope its worth it <3

Inception3809d ago (Edited 3809d ago )

@THamm

Kojima said Ground Zeroes only have several hours of gameplay. But in Peace Walker, i spend 50 to 70 hours of gameplay. Tons of mission, from building mother base, collecting parts to build & customize your own Metal Gear, R&D your weapons / items, deploy your troops, to multiplayer (co-op or versus).

Let's see if Ground Zeroes have all this things. But if not...

SnakeCQC3809d ago

I've had peace walker on my hdd for some time but haven't gone around to playing it. I had no idea you could do all of that.

Inception3809d ago

@Erudito

In terms of scale and gameplay, i think Peace Walker is the best in Metal Gear series. So you should go back playing Peace Walker. Feel the sensation as a true Big Boss and build your own Metal Gear and

Fight it as one of the final boss in Peace Walker

GameSpawn3809d ago

@Erudito87

With the number of missions and stuff to do in Peace Walker, you can easily drop 50 hours in and still not do half of what there is to do.

I think my last save file for PW was around 100+ hours. I've played the liven crap out of that game. The only reason I stopped was the overwhelming difficulty of the extra Monster Hunter missions with each of the dragons - finishing them is one thing, S-Ranking them is another.

Also keep your eye out for a blatant nod to the Assassin's Creed games.

THamm3808d ago (Edited 3808d ago )

I think he meant several hours of the main story mode gameplay.

Yeah I'm bis Metal Gear and PW is my second favorite to Solid. Believe the game is way underrated. You have to play it

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan172d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara172d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721172d ago (Edited 172d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus172d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

ApocalypseShadow172d ago

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga188d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19188d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19188d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq188d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

Chocoburger188d ago

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder188d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils188d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder188d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85188d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420188d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim188d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo187d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
