Some people are worried about the difficulty level of Metal Gear Solid V, because in the gameplay videos released so far, the game looks rather easy. However, looks can be deceiving.
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
Buy Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Zeroes & help fund Fox Engine Development. :D
This game will be identical to size and scope of Peace Walker. Phantom Pain will be like MGS4 I assume.
Having played many Metal Gear games, on the surface they tend to be easy, but once you start playing on the harder difficulties, S-Rank some missions, or go after that highly sought Big Boss emblem then things begin to ramp up significantly.
MGS2 on Very Hard and its VR missions require absolute mastery of the game to finish.
MGS3 was overall fairly easy for the most part, unless you just really want to challenge yourself for the Big Boss ranking (it wasn't required for any trophies/achievements).
Peace Walker has some pretty difficult missions to S-Rank (Monster Hunter missions being probably the most difficult).
MGS4 is fine until you must complete the Big Boss play through and then you must have everything memorized and be insanely accurate with your shots during the boss fights and hope to god you'll survive the bike chase.
