Gaming's Biggest Problem: Being Overburdened With Memorabila

Hardcore Gamer: My love of gaming and collecting has turned my room into that of a disaster area. Strewn across the floor all over are cases, discs, systems, the errant set of batteries, and gutted Wii remotes that I do not use. On the side of my room where I have a dresser, there are stacks of gaming magazines that I read four or five years ago. In the room adjacent to mine you can find a large duffel bag containing the original Game Boy, a Game Gear and all the subsequent handhelds I don’t use at the moment. It all takes up space, which I haven’t enough of. Why? I just can’t bring myself to get rid of any of it!

you won't be able to keep them all in one HDD.

I will delete old games and re-download for another play through(if that happens) in the future. It's not like I loose my games once you delete it.

-I do not play 5 games at a time.(With my life about 2 games at once)

-I have a 17TB Media NAS with a HTPC attached to my HDTV so I doubt I will keep movies on the XboxOne. Maybe some music.

-SKYdrive can play media from what I've heard.

-I heard there will be External HDD capabilities.

-Cloud storage could be a possibility in futre, now we are talking worst case scenario for me.

You gamers out there using one box for your gaming and media consumption could run in to issues. Space is no issue.

Let's say you download 20 games, but you can only keep 5-10 at any given time per 500GB HDD. You need to download the game and install it into your HDD so you are looking at more than 50GB for those that require mandatory install. Yes, you can go delete it whenever you want, but what if the day comes when Sony decides to shut the server down. Yes, you can try to upgrade the HDD, but how many TB do you really need? What if your HDD breaks down on you? There's a good chance you won't recover all the games you have bought, especially the ones you like.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
