FYI, I hear it's rolling out on Playstation 3 before Xbox 360, and it's hitting different players at different times.

I'm still waiting for mine.

xHeavYx3816d ago

Some people are getting over $1M. I got "only" $500,000

shoddy3816d ago

Some people don't even need the package cause of the glitch

ZBlacktt3817d ago

I lol'd, everyone is glitching the money and earning millions an hour.

BattleTorn3817d ago

I know tons of people that have done the LCS exploits, and most of them say they feel they've ruined their GTA experience, at least somewhat.

shoddy3816d ago

Spending 20 hour to buy a bugatti is a pain in the butt

GarrusVakarian3816d ago (Edited 3816d ago )

I haven't glitched a single time, i like to buy a game and get my moneys worth. So this package will be helpful for me to fill up my garage (when i can be bothered to play it, i have next gen syndrome).

GuruMeditation3816d ago

Totally agree. On getting value out of the game AND next gen syndrome lol

ZBlacktt3817d ago

Yeah, I agree, once you own everything and I do mean everything ( Cars, Tanks, planes, chopper, boats... most expensive home. What's the point other then playing a repetitive cycle.

It's like the clan booster racing the two tracks taking turns finishing first over and over and over. Once you get to the upper levels, that's it got every weapon and mod needed now what?

I think many don't really care because lets face it. Next Gen drops in a little over a week to two weeks here in the States and soon elsewhere. We know millions are making the move. Only coming back over to GTAV every now and then. Which by then maybe the game will be glitch free by then who knows.

demonicale6663816d ago

Only idiots would glitch to earn that kind of money. What's the point?. The game will become boring like you say.

Playstationologist3816d ago

Jobs are paying 1k average after they reduced everything. For you to get a nice apartment and a cheetah you would have to play 850 jobs. That's like an actual job, f*** that.

GarrusVakarian3816d ago (Edited 3816d ago )

Repetitive cycle, yet i believe you said you are rank 70? So im guessing you have homes, cars, bikes? Yet you still play. You must love repetition ;)

And just because next gen is dropping, doesn't mean EVERYONE is going to abandon GTAO, some people wont be early next gen adopters and will still be playing it. I will be jumping ship though, i can't wait to leave current gen behind.

ZBlacktt3816d ago

I'm twice the online levels that you are. Which means I have A LOT more time in this then you. I realize you are someone who needs everything broken down for them to understand. Repetitive in doing the races, missions, over and over yes. Again, this game is just a time space filler until the PS4 gets here. I'm not saying worst game ever, but defiantly something poorly put together on the Online side of it.

I started more of the single player mode and that is far better and the real winner of this game.

Audiggity3816d ago

@ ZBlacktt

No offense to you, or any of the level 60 - 70+ people out there... but, some things you may want to consider:

- Rockstar has been battling bugs and glitches simultaneously, something that clearly caused a delay with their patches/stimulus/expansions/DL C

- If Rockstar didn't have to battle with people cheating/exploiting, they may have been able to inject new content by now

- Last, but not least, I don't think they anticipated the frightening amount of time people would pour into this game... all while still complaining about it. The irony is hilarious btw.

You have sunk A LOT more time into this, that is clear. I haven't played anything else, or watched TV, every free hour I can scrounge together has gone to GTA:O and I just hit level 32 w/ about 30 hours into the game.

For gamers who have less time to spend gaming (family, work, sports, activities, etc.) this is not terribly repetitive.

I would imagine that ANY game you put 70-80 hours into, in a span of roughly one month, would* get repetitive. And if not - why aren't you playing THAT game?

SirBradders3816d ago

For me GTA is about accumulating the most money and killing and pissing people of whilst having fun with some friends.

If people want to glitch let them because when a developer turns to micro transactions to allow the rich to prosper it is really not fair and reflects the kind of society we live in. Look at america 1% have more money the 99% combined.

Playstationologist3816d ago

I agree. I am trading this game within a week of ps4, I can't really explain it but it got boring faster than any other GTA. I think the fact that the only thing to do is rank up to unlock items kinda speaks for itself.

A big factor for me is I'm not renewing xbl to play this and wot. But I feel I would still trade it if I had active xbl account.

GarrusVakarian3816d ago (Edited 3816d ago )

"I'm twice the online levels that you are. Which means I have A LOT more time in this then you."

That's exactly my point, you call the game repetitive and bash it on so many occasions, yet you are TWICE the rank i am you must have done races, jobs, missions SO many times over and over. Your comments don't reflect your actions.

I'm glitch rich so I used the money to give players that didn't cheat a little something. Fixed up a sultan I found and left it sitting beside LSC.

Spent the rest on sticky bombs and been on a 2 day rampage.

kingPoS3816d ago

Stickies are hella expensive! You can wind up broke in a hurry constantly replacing those things. lol

MysticStrummer3816d ago

I haven't glitched at all. I logged in, spent $700k in about twenty minutes, did two missions, and logged out again.

Thar she blows! That be a whale!! Let's talk to them mateys!

phoenixwing26d ago

@disagrees
Didn't have a good rebuttal did you? We all know the select players are whales who waste thousands or hundreds of thousands on the games currency. You expect them to make the same kinds of demands as everyone else? Keep dreaming.

Inverno25d ago

Well that and most likely streamers who have helped harpoon all those whales lolz.

Why is this news? Is this supposed to be some sort of heads up to those involved?

Kombatologist32d ago

Why shouldn't this be news? If you play the game at all, you'd know this has been a problem for a while. Tell me, how is it fair for legit low-level players to be grieved by players using modded accounts with disposable amounts of cash? It's about time Rockstar did something about these losers.

BISHOP-BRASIL32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

Not that I really played it in forever, but the way I used to roll on online once I realize I had no interest in actually doing heists and micromanaging property and shit, the moment someone decided to pick a fight I'd just leave towards north, jump the fence of the army base, steal a jet and grief away... Pro tip: they can't really make you pay for other players cars when you have not one single penny to your name.

EDIT: Got carried away... Anyway, my point was, you can grief without money, this is not stopping it.

Kombatologist32d ago

@BISHOP-BRASIL

I get what you're trying to say, but it's a false equivalence. Anyone could jump the fence and grab a jet back in the day. The dynamic changed once R* started introducing militarized vehicles, such as flying motorcycles with homing rockets, a stealth helicopter, and most recently, a stealth jet. There's so many militarized vehicles now, you really have to keep up with the latest and greatest in order to defend yourself from that shit, which is really expensive to do. Sure, you could make the argument that Shark Cards give players the same advantage as a modded account. The thing is, they don't. Not even close. A modded account can have ANY amount of money, as well as ANY weapon and/or vehicle, even ones that aren't available in the game yet (as long as they're in the datafiles). Some of them even have glitched characters with invisible limbs/weapons. This is an unfair advantage to anyone who plays legitimately and nobody should have to risk getting their accounts permanently banned from stooping to the same level just to compete. Furthermore, making money is really easy to do now. Which begs the question: Why buy a modded account in the first place? I think the answer is obvious.

So this is news because a Twitter guy says so :)
