After much consideration, I'm getting both.

Preordered my PS4 right after microsofts E3 event.

Blackdeath_6633821d ago

you mean sony's E3 event? MS's E3 conference wasn't all that bad they showed good games and whatnot it only looked bad because they absolutely got hammered by sony hours later.

HammadTheBeast3821d ago

Good.

Hope you have fun with both.

Have fun paying 100 bucks a year for online play -_-

FANTA11803821d ago

if you cant afford 100 bux a year which is 8 bux a month ...you shouldnt be able to afford a conosole at all.

Killjoy30003821d ago

Who said anything about being able to afford it? It's just assinine.

evilunklebud3821d ago

PS4 first, Xbox in 2014. Enjoyed both the 360 and PS3 this gen.

My pick PS4. Cant afford two monthly subscriptions for virtually the same thing. Multiplats are better on Playstation this time around and they are a force to be reckoned with in the First Party Studios. I also just picked up a Dualshock 4 and Wow, the feel and weight of this is leaps and bounds better than DS2/DS3. Very confident in my choice. Now, I just need an American clan to join for BF4 on the PS4.

BattleTorn3821d ago (Edited 3821d ago )

The two yearly subcriptions for online is the biggest downside to purchasing both.

It makes me wonder whether I will eventually give one up entirely.

Although, I've always argued that XBL isn't very expensive, and worth the value. (roughly $4/month)

So, I think I can live with paying roughly $9/month for PS+/XBL. We'll see though.

Blackdeath_6633821d ago

i don't think XBL is worth the value MS just put many features behind the paywall to give the illusion that it is stuff that should be free and are free on EVERY OTHER PLATFORM like skype or netflix for example. they need something like the instant games collection on PS+ with that you instantly get your money's worth back in free games and then some

Rageanitus3821d ago (Edited 3821d ago )

I am gonna stick with PC as primary platform, and consoles for the single player exclusives games (as I did with last gen).

If you look at both launches and your a PC gamer, there is little reason to jump the gun immediatly.

I am gonna get one of them for sure but Ill wait at least 6 months.

MRMagoo1233821d ago

Hmmm ign doing a comparison huh , they cant even do a preview without lying lol.

mistertwoturbo3821d ago (Edited 3821d ago )

After looking more into Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3, I've decided to eventually get an XB1 (maybe if they have a bundle.) Despite my grudge against the weak hardware, I have to say I really want to play those games anyway.

But will stick to PC/PS4 a majority of my gaming. Absolutely will not miss Naughty Dog's next game especially on PS4.

christocolus3821d ago

its xbox one day one for me and ps4 as soon as infamous get out.
