It is a good idea though business wise, they need to make it as easy as possible for you to buy something. MS has always been good with this, Sony is catching up now.

That's a pretty good use for the kinect, reminds me of the first time I saw Iphones read bar codes and compare store prices.

You get a cool point today MS, but don't let it go to your head. Even though it's a small thing, they should've been showing features like this one sooner as they could've given inspiration to making new features.

They should make it able to read and input credit card info too so you don't have to type it all in if you want to attach one. 16 digits, name, exp, and back code are a much bigger pain.
Considering the size of that code it probably won't happen for credit cards though, the thing is as big as his fist, but like I said, inspiration.

Yea the xbox one actually looks like a good console.Has some strong launch titles.Sure you can say ps4 is better at gaming,that's what im getting, but overall Microsoft seems to always have a better interface and just seems more connected and easir to watch and use movies or tv shows or anything other than games better than sony's ps4...im getting a ps4 for gaming because im a gamer but i see myself getting a xbox one and using it more than the ps4 for other things than gaming....not saying the ps4 can do this things im just saying that Microsoft dose those things better.

MS needs to make a commercial DIRECTLY addressing why the XB1 is $100 more than the PS4. It could start off with a mom pressuring her kid to get the cheaper PS4, when all of a sudden Major Nelson comes out of nowhere and performs camera gestures and voice controls on the XB1.

The mom and kid are stunned with a mom grabbing an XB1 and running to the register. Nelson puts on dark tint sunglasses and as he leaves the store, a store clerk casually says

"C ya 2morrow Major"

Nelson (overly happy with himself) replies "....yup"

nah, I disagree Kingthrash Ryse, DR3, Forza5, and KI, all are games I can play at launch, of course a few great multi games as well and micro has plenty of announced games coming and are re-investing in studios to expand them and opening new ones, so imo given their future plans and that they currently easily have a better launch lineup than ps4 imo but even if you disagree about which lineup is better it would be delusional to say they are not putting out games for their fanbase to enjoy which is why your comment makes no sense, they have some great games as I'm sure ps4 will have too but they are in fact doing some other great things with their console. Sony seems to be more about games only which is great but it doesn't mean others cant do that and offer more too. Sony's way is not the only way, both companies make each other better.

It's probably a little less about saving you 10 seconds and more about making digital downloads that use codes more attractive to customers. We will probably see more new games come with codes to reduce used sales a little and we will definately see more downloads codes for sale at retail shops.
