OT: Just made my day seeing those sales for the Wii U. Can't wait to see what 3D World does for the console and then DK, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros 4, and Zelda. Plus I know Nintendo still has a few more surprises in store for the rest of the year.

I think people disagree because many make a big deal out of it when the Wii U has had bigger boosts than this before and that is a fact. It still hasn't held those sales time and time again though which is also apparent.

I am not saying it will be like this forever, of course it won't.. I am not those idiots who claims its doomed either, I am just a realistic thinker who knows it is going to take more than a couple decent games.

I think that is why many are reluctant to rub it in like you people are and that aspect of you people trying to prove something so much I think is why so many disagree.

The Wii U has nothing to prove, Nintendo has the money to keep it going and it will be successful. It is going to take time, people said the same crap about the Vita and now it is picking up speed with steady sales.

Many of the games you listed that will come out later will definitely pick up the sales of the system no doubt.

I just don't get it, like I said before why you people feel the need to rub it in so much and make stupid comments about people being butt hurt when the truth is the Wii U has had bigger boosts than this and still dropped back down again..

Just think you people are once again jumping the gun way too quickly.

Good to see a Wii U boost hopefully it can hold steady numbers this time, Vita seems to picking up with a steady line now also.

I personally don't think Party U is the game to keep steady hardware sales for the Wii U. Not trying to be a dick about it and I say that because I know people will think I am anyway but whatever.. It is just so many Wii U games people have said this about and sadly the hardware sales drop heavily shortly after.

I don't mind being hopeful or finding this as good news, as I do but what I don't get is why when the Wii U gets any boost in sales people feel the need to rub it in others faces so much. How many times has that failed to work out for you all? Quite often to be very frank. So maybe you should at least wait for steady hardware sales before you once again try to slap this in every ones face.

Still waiting for those big sellers on the Wii U, then I think it will make a bigger difference and get those steady sales.

Personally i think anyone who thought niche games like pikmin or w101 would sell systems are very over optimistic. Same with a remake of windwaker. I still maintain nintendo has yet to release a system seller on wii u. The little boosts with pikmin 3 and now this came as a surprise to me.

How on earth did that happen? Pikmin 3 increased it by like 100%, wonderful 101 caused a slight bump, Windwaker did nothing (for Japan)....the almighty Wii Party U caused a 1000% increase in WiiU sales propelling it from 9000 unites behind the PS3 to 25000 units ahead of it.

Have I missed something? Has there been a massive price drop or bundle in Japan that has caused this.

From my point of view this is great news, hopefully the momentum continues to the point that devs start taking the system seriously and give us some real, non half arsed ports. Stuff along the lines of anything by Ubisoft would be greatly appreciated.

Here's to the Wii U's good sales. I find it silly how some people want it dead when they're not even interested in purchasing one. I'll probably be buying one next year for me and my daughter. Hopefully more games come out next year.
