Will 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' Beat Out 'Grand Theft Auto 5'?

Hopefully gta5 also made people realize that there is way better games out there than an annual release of a copy and paste first person shooter that looks and plays the same with very minor tweaks.

COD-Ghost has already done a billion dollars in sales - Activision just announced it on CNBC...

So it looks like the unstoppable freight train that is Call of Duty, is once again still unstoppable...

well not really, Activision only used favorable wording to confuse the message. They said "sold into retailers" AKA shipped units. Unlike GTA, where those numbers where for actual games sold to people.

They didnt even said they had surpassed GTA sales, which is something we know they would do if they had actually done that.

Still, in the long run I have no doubt it will surpass it since its on more consoles.

Even if they got the same amount of sales, it wouldn't work. GTA5 sold on 2 platforms while CoD is releasing on PS3, 360, WiiU, PC, PS4 and One.

That's 3 times the amount of platforms.

Although considering COD is selling on 6 systems compared to only 2 for GTA 5 it just might outsell in the long run.

GTA V has beat out all COD records and being only on 2 consoles. This COD is falling way short of BLOPS 2.

It has a good chance seeing how it's going to be on 6 different platforms and GTA5 is only on 2, but here's hoping that COD brofest is just about over, and the game drops back down to reality.

Nope. Looks to be selling worse than previous ones by quite a bit if we go by player count. I heard 360 didn't even break 500k players on day 1. PC didn't break 36k lol. I remember COD when 360 had like nearly 2m players on the first day. Those days are over it seems.

Don't care if it does GTAV is a better game and when it comes to new multiplayer games IMO BF4 is amazing and Ghosts is just the same game since MW2 which I was not a huge fan of
