Danny wonders how much influence our friends have over the games we play and the consoles we buy.
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
Prototype footage from several of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed titles has leaked, revealing early stages of their development.

I don't listen to my friends I make my own descisions most of them are getting x1's im going ps4. i can think for myself unlike them.
Nice! Another "403 Forbidden" error... The hell is wrong with Gamespot...
I personally know off-hand around 15-20 console gamers, with the majority of them owning 360's over ps3's. And the majority of the 360 owners have told me the only reason they went with the 360 was because of their "friends" recommendation. So, yes, people can be influenced by peers regarding consoles. Is it a bad thing? I Don't know.... but I bought a launch 60G ps3 and have never regretted it! My console is on 6-10 hours a day since launch with no issues, and with the web browser, I have kept up with Dexter, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, etc... with no cable bill and use pandora, also sonys music application and netflix etc... plus the GAMES! I could care less what other people buy, my purchase has given me countless hours of adult electronic entertainment! Mostly for free! I have a 360 and after the disc drive broke after a month and 2 weeks to fix, I still like it too. But......
Gamespot is a disaster now, not because of the new site or anything, actually the new site is pretty good looking. They way gs handles news, biased reviews and info, the new iron fist rules for their community, and repetitive video shows, it's just all downhill. Well nothing stays the same I guess.
I buy my games because I want them. I'm not much of a multiplayer person, especially online multiplayer. Being shy sucks, so my friends choices don't affect my buy.
But, either way, Most of my friends are taking the Sony route. And as I usually do, I'm sticking with Nintendo. I might branch off to the One or Ps4 within a few years, depends on which one has more exclusives I want.
That's probably the only thing that will decide what console I buy, exclusives. But game-wise, it's whatever I think I'll like.
