The sad part about this is most of these weapons should of been in the game from the start since they've been in other GTA games. One which isn't suggested is the Knuckle Duster....where the hell was that

Jetpack - Fans wanted it to return, where is it?
Katana - Was in past GTA games
Flamefrower - Was in past games
Chainsaw - Was in past games
Colt Magnum - Again was in past games

If they are free fair enough but why should I have to pay for old weapons which should of been in the game from the start.

I think it's a little unfair to say they should have been in the game because they were in past games. Sure, it's disappointing that certain iconic weapons/features aren't in GTA V, but they're replaced by new ones. Even if said weapons/features aren't to you're liking.

I say we wait and see before getting all worked up. The Beach Bum pack is completely free and offers new weapons and vehicles for both GTA Online and GTA V. So who's to say they will charge money for weapons at all?

But the news ones are mostly all the same, there's nothing which separates most of the weapons apart. It's not like a Knuckle Duster to a Flamefrower or cutting someones head off with a Katana.

They should of been in the game, I think it's highly fair to say it because they have been nearly in most of the games. They, as you've said are iconic weapons of the franchises and to make us pay for them...it's a tad insulting.

New weapons which havent been done before...fine, but not old ones.

Well, as I said, there's no conformation these things will need to be paid for. The only fact we have right now, is there's a content pack coming that includes weapons and that content pack is free. What those weapons are, no one knows but we will find out in a week or so.

Until Rockstar comes out and says "Here's a chainsaw, flamethrowing, bass knuckles, but it will cost $5.99", then yes, it's a little unfair to say. Only because they're already stated the first content pack with new weapons is free.

GTA V is a massive game that runs pretty damn well on 360/PS3. It's a technical achievement. Who's to say certain weapons conflicted too much with the game which is why they weren't included.

Here's an easy example. The Tow Truck. It can't be used online. Why? Because it crashes the game. I know this because the internet found a way to dupe single player vehicles into MP and if someone in a Tow Truck drives near you, it freezes your console.

How about a mini rail gun like in Schwarzenegger's "Eraser"?

Psychotica3828d ago

I would like a Stinger missile to shoot down the helicopters.

Zancruz3828d ago

Paintball gun would awesome! Especially if they add some Woodball & Speedball Team nondeathmatch games modes.... Multicolor paintball splatters everywhere!!!

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing6921h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy8518h ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
