Far Cry 4 First Teaser Image Released?

Real or Fake? Is this the first teaser image for Far Cry 4? We don’t think so. Everything looks suspicious, Vaas looks in his natural habitat, but the logo Far Cry 4 and the text under it look very suspicious. ****SPOILERS INSIDE****

Should probably mention here that I only got so far in Far Cry 3 and stopped as I had other games, already got on PSN and plan to start again.

Also, didn't expect it to reveal any of the storyline due to it being about an image. You'd just expect image 'blah blah blah' real or fake 'blah blah blah', not the back story.

You haven't played FarCry 3 yet? Game was just free on PS Plus... it's like $15 on Craigslist. Anyway, damn was it a good game! So much better in every way over FC2. Plus it's not a hard game to plat.

The map and gameplay were brilliant, story was a little all over the place though.....

Definitely fake. The letters in the logo aren't even aligned properly with each other. And the "4" is really blurry.
An official promo image wouldn't have made those mistakes.

There is a date in the image 04.04.2014 just below the top left most writing. It also says Far Cry 3 is only a game which probably means nothing I admit.

I say it's fake as the logo is not spaced correctly as it is for FC3 and I imagine the 4 would be less blurry.

Fake or not, I cannot wait wait for Far Cry 4!

This is either a left over promo pic of Farcry 3, or its the real deal.

I lean towards an actual farcry 4 based off the quotes on the wall. It seems Vaas survived.

Now the question is which of the two endings is the cannon ending of Farcry 3?

A)- you kill your ex girlfriend, Vaas sister kill yous after sex and then gives birth to a "demon"?

B)-Jason kill's Vaas Sister, saves his friends but decides to stay on the island and be King.

C) -Vaas survives, gets captured and thrown in jail. Because he is violent to his self and others, he gets the straightjacket. Players take over the role of Vaas as he escapes prison on another set of islands, where the mission of the game is too overthrow the local government and become the pirate king.

I think it's option C and that I drank too much coffee when writing this.

I would say that this isn't Far Cry 4, but rather a huge piece of DLC for Far Cry 3. It may even be released as a stand-alone title, like Blood Dragon was.

So far, Far Cry has never brought back characters from previous games, so this being a sequel is unlikely.

This definitley looks like it was doctored up by a fan, and not an official teaser from Ubi.

If there is a FarCry 4 in the works (I hope so!), My Only request to Ubisoft is that we don't have to play as a some trust fund bro-dude. Though FarCry 3 was a stellar game al-around, Jason Brody has got to be one of the least relatable characters in recent memory.

No one thinks Jason could've developed phycological issues and developed a Vaas-like style and personality? Vaas IS dead, but perhaps the things he did to Jason were traumatic enough to have that kind of effect. We can't see his arms, so the tattoos that Jason would have aren't visible, but if they were going to continue a story with Jason, I think it would be extremely interesting if he developed an alter-ego kind of thing.

The photo looks fake to me, but if it wasn't, I'd say that's Jason.
