OFFICIAL: All crime that happened in mid-September was GTA V's fault

At least, that seems to be what a new article from The Daily Mail is implying.

zeal0us3830d ago (Edited 3830d ago )

Well I did punch my neighbors Chihuahua back in mid-October and I blame BF4 for it.

The thing that has killed more of human kind then any other is religion through crusades, hat crimes wars and terrorists (taliban, KKK, al qaeda and numerous others). Instead of focusing so much on restricting/banning video games let us try and scrutinize the way in which religion has deformed from its original purpouse (which was a good set of morals)

Dont Restrict games, restrict the Holy Book (im only using his/her logic for this as I believe in Free speech and transmission, but im setting a completely valid example)

@mpnothanks

I got a good chuckle outta that too. lol Hat crimes, hat on hat violence Dx What is the world coming too when we can't even trust hats?? D:

hay3830d ago (Edited 3830d ago )

I was once blamed for killing Jesus Christ. Does that mean I was playing too much Terminator or Chrono Trigger?

Derpy3830d ago

You logic is flawed. Those things where done because of greed and hate by people hiding behind religion. Even if there was no religions, people would still kill because of hate and greed. Hitler was an atheist and an anti-religious bigot and it didn't stop him from starting wars and killing millions.

And while I'm not a fan of Grand Theft Auto and have no desire to defend it, anyone who committed crimes this month would most likely have done so even if the game never existed.

TheDevKit3830d ago

Also the mass indoctrination and brainwashing.

I played fifa once, oh by the way my name is Pele.

One of my friends who played Mafia 2 was called alcapone heard he was a bit violent.

One of my friends played red dead redemption his name was billy th kid.

One of my friends played Skyrim, became a vicious blood seeking orc who stole peoples sweetrolls and shot arrows in people's knees.

One of my friends played Uncharted 3 became a vicious explorer who killed tonnes and eventually found the mystical El Dorado treasures.

One of my friends played Leiusre suit larry, he became a sex offender.

Woah All of my friends who have played these games are exaclty like that arent they?

Snookies123830d ago (Edited 3830d ago )

A joke is supposed to be funny though... This is just lame lol.

The_Sneauxman3830d ago

I guess GTA is also to blame for the Dark Ages and the rise of the Roman Empire... Who knew!?

Beastforlifenoob3830d ago

No that was Ryse: Son of rome and also Civilization V.

Pintheshadows3830d ago

The worst thing about this article is that I just discovered via the comments on MCV that the Dandy no longer exists. I blame The Daily Mail for that.

Cost of realistic looking movement.

lucasnooker36d ago

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar36d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo36d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg36d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
