Xbox one Ghost is really doing well.

JimmyHACK3833d ago

Yep, I would easily expect it to be #1 by far for both new console launches.

Belking3833d ago

Too bad VG chartz is always inaccurate. They still have the last guardian on that list so you know the numbers are made up.

Ketzicorn3833d ago

Yeah and the other 3 versions of Ghost in the top 5. I was more surprised to not see Fifa 14 for the X1.

Lalanana3833d ago (Edited 3833d ago )

Yea i thought the same thing about Fifa for x1 lol.. i guess America is not really big on soccer like europe. I am curious on the fifa preorder numbers for europe for both x1 and ps4.

Edit:@Ketzicorn I have no idea.

Ketzicorn3833d ago

@Lalanana Yeah I wonder if they include the Fifa and Forza bundles as a Preorder for the game as well?

Stsonic3833d ago

The numbers are so suspect. PS3 and xbox always sell within a few digits of each other it does not add up.

roland823833d ago

i guess ppl are getting ghost on 360 than upgrading to xbone.

famoussasjohn3833d ago

I'll save the $10 to trade up, pre-ordered the Xbox One edition. Don't mind waiting the additional 2 weeks-ish for the Xbox One to play it.

JuleyJules3833d ago

I have a feeling that we'll see a lot of that with the new systems - people hesitating to upgrade. Sales are going to be crazy at the start for sure (Wii U was too) but then MS/Sony have to keep it up and convince gamers to buy the new systems. It could be tough when games continue to be released on the current systems. Most people I know with PS3/360 have no interest in upgrading yet. The market is really tough at the moment and is different for sure than it was 7 years ago.

Ju3833d ago

This doesn't really mean anything. Obviously the majority of current gen gamers will not upgrade. The current gen clocks in at about 80M sold and obviously it took them 7 years to reach that number. I for one will postpone my purchase to next year. And yet, I still believe it will sell out at launch. It's actually quite smart to stretch this a little.

Idba3833d ago

Ryse : 82,888 US pre-orders
DR3: 86,648 US pre-orders
Forza: 90,573 US pre-orders

= 260,109

Kilzone : 250,155 US preorders.

It seems like more xbox gamers in the US are converting to PS gamers :P

demonddel3833d ago

So I assume that's telling you the X1 has more options than the PS4

Idba3833d ago

No, that me saying 3 of MS exlcusives barely have more pre-orders than one ps4 exlcusive.

Funantic13833d ago

Killzone is the only decent exclusive the PS4 has. The Xbone has more to choose from.

gusgusjr3833d ago

That's the way I feel, right now I have Killzone on preorder, but feel like my other PS4 games are going to be indies when the system launches. I have preorders also on ryse and dead rising 3. I have multiplats on both systems.

Ju3833d ago

Right. And CoD and BF4 doesn't exist on the PS4...or why are those up there too? And why isn't that considered competing games in the same genre?

All other games - third parties like AC4 - top the XBone exclusives as well. Care to explain that? There are more PS4 titles in the list (top 50) than XBone which makes me think the PS4 has quite some titles to choose from. Weird, huh. Without games...

The best Batman Arkham game still isn’t on PS5, and that’s a problem

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is almost here, but I can't revisit the best Arkhamverse game on PS5 without sacrificing quality.

Not a fan of Orgins. Blame it on the absence of Conroy & Hamill. Blame it on the lack of atmosphere compared to Asylm. Hell blame it the devs thst dicked over Wii U owners like me that purchased the game only for support be dropped as a thank you to me. It's better than Knight but that's not saying much. I don't care for that entry either.

Rebel_Scum95d ago

tbh buying a game like that for WiiU should’ve been an obvious non-purchase when it existed on better hardware.

Cacabunga95d ago

Origins is amazing..
my favorite Batman is Batman and Robin on mega drive.. an HD REMASTER of that would still look glorious

ZeekQuattro94d ago

I got it launch. Kinda hard to go back. I'm supposed to know they were going to drop support months after the fact. 🤣

Exvalos95d ago

You sound like a salty fanboy, that it didn't come to your precious plastic of choice. It's not the developers fault Nintendo continues making underpowered hardware. It's our fault because we keep buying it. Yes I say (we) I'm part of the problem as well.

ZeekQuattro94d ago

I have a PS3 and a Wii U. How was I a salty fanboy? I bought the game on the system I wanted it for.

Rebel_Scum94d ago

Nah my comment has nothing to do with whether you’d know or not that they’d drop support.

Buying any AAA game of that era for a WiiU you should’ve known you’d be sacrificing graphics and load times.

LucasRuinedChildhood95d ago

It's solid but Origins is definitely not the best Arkham game.

LoveSpuds94d ago

Smacks of hyperbole to me, talk about clutching at straws to create some drama around PS5!!

generic-user-name94d ago

Titles like these are designed to get you to come in, go to their comment section and tell them how they're so wrong so they can boost their numbers.

Phoenix7695d ago

Even though its not the best arkham game in the series, its still an enjoyable game in its own right. What it do really well at though, was the crime investigations scenes. Which imo, were the best of the franchise.

goldwyncq95d ago

I don’t know about best game but it definitely has the best story and boss fights.

boing195d ago

Never played it and recently I've finally tried it via cloud on psn. It's not the best for sure, but it ain't bad either.

Batman: Arkham Origins - Open World Busy Work that Doesn't Hold Up 10 Years Later

Batman: Arkham Origins launched 10 years ago today, and sadly doesn't stand the test of time as well as its predecessors.

Petebloodyonion176d ago

I fail to grasp why this title is worse compared to Arkham City (according to the article) as the author didn't provide any argument to explain why aside from that it felt the bigger map compared to Arkham Asylum made the experience less tight.
More importantly, the author seems like he never played Arkham City since he described the game as linear (alongside Asylum).

The Unjustly Forgotten Batman: Arkham Origins Deserves A Resurgence

Despite certain flaws, Batman: Arkham Origins is a splendid entry in the legendary Arkham series and deserves better than being forsaken.

lellkay289d ago (Edited 289d ago )

It's the worst of the three in my opinion, but still really enjoyable. Definitely underated and gets far more crap that it deserves.

Should be included with the other Arkham games in the bundle.

Demetrius288d ago

I'm honestly enjoying it alot, my first time playing since I just decided to get a Xbox 360 slim for 65$, I cop some other gems too tho, I went into Arkham origins not expecting better than Arkham city but it does deliver plus the guy who voices batman did a good job aiming for the young Bruce impression
